The location is very good. The price is a little expensive but so are most Amsterdam hostels relatively speaking. We did not experience any bed bugs, the rooms and beds were pleasant and clean though the toilet had smell we could not rid. The staff were very lovely and hospitable. I would like to mention Monta, Fadel and Mike, they were very friendly indeed. The bedroom lockers are quite small and won’t fit large hiking backpacks but Monta offered to store them in the safe in reception

Very hot when I was there, both nights I could barely sleep and was up nearly all night. beds are also tiny. They do mention this though so it's not really their fault. Two people in my room had things stolen while i was there (100eur and headphones) and when they talked to staff for help they said there was nothing they could do. this is true, but i guess it just makes it silly that they have security cameras if they can't really use them. there was a cat though.
