Family-owned hostel. Family is so helpful and so, so friendly. Each room is more like an apartment, which is nice, but the apartments could use updating. Bathrooms and kitchens were not very clean. Shower in my bathroom did not have a curtain. Hot water lasted less than 5 minutes. A/C is not in the bedrooms - it's in the common room attached to the bedroom, so rooms get extremely hot when people come in late and close the bedroom door.
Although this is quite close to the bus station, which is a big plus for arriving by bus, or going to the airport, I was not very impressed. The security was quite poor; all the doors were open, people from other apartments would just walk in, and there weren't any lockers to keep your things in. The only air conditioner was in the main room, so the bedrooms were quite warm unless you slept with the door open to the main room.
We were slightly concerned about leaving our bags because there were no lockers and the door is never locked, so anyone could walk in and take our things. However, we left them and no problems. There were always people around which was fun and the staff was very helpful and gave us lots of suggestions of places to go.
No lockers, which is just annoying. Highest rating I've ever given a hostel. Only complaint is I forgot a jacket and emailed and called multiple times and no response was given. Very nice in the first two floors of a 3 story home. Mother is absolutely adorable and very hospitable. You felt like you were at home. Highly recommended.
The location was perfect - being close to the bus station is great for arriving into Dubrovnik and getting a bus to the airport. Much more convenient than being in old town, which is only a few minutes away. The host was very friendly and helpful.

Family-run guesthouse in a building near the bus station and harbour, so very practical if you're staying overnight. THe old city is just a few kilometers away. It's overall clean, the rooms are comfortable enough, and the family quite helpful and very nice.
Nice guesthouse. Had a great time with other travellers in the common area. Location is great; near the bus station, althougt the Old town is quite far away.
It's a nice hostel to stay in for a couple of days, though a bit far off from the Old Town ( 20 by bus). On the other hand, the main bus station is just across the street. The owner made me feel at home. It's worthwhile.
A lovely brief stopover for us here in this very nice apartment. We were just staying here for the one night as we were travelling onto Sarajevo the next day. Our flight was delayed four hours and we didn't arrive at the hostel until nearly 1am but the very kind owner waited up for us. Despite the time she was very friendly and accommodating and even gave us a plate of food and bus recommendations for the next morning. A very nice little hostel.
Friendly, nice and very helpful owner! Very close to bus station. Just few minutes walk. Also close to supermarket.
A great palce, very friendly staff and an amazing atmosphere. Had a great time overall.
Great hosts! They were super nice, and the hostel is perfectly located right in front of the bus station and were the ferry arrives!
Hot in the rooms, the shower in our shared bathroom didn't have a curtain so the floor was always wet in the bathroom. Great price for Dubrovnik though and only a short bus ride away from the old town. Highly recommend
This hostel is really close to all transport links which is great, but is around a 25-30 minute walk from the old walled town. There's a real family atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming. However, a mistake was made with our booking and was dealt with very badly. We were blamed for this mistake when in fact it was the hostel's mistake - this made us all very unhappy and meant that we had to spend our last night of travelling in separate rooms. Due to this I definitely wouldn't stay again.
The hostel is a bit far from the old town but excellent location right next to the bus station and the ferry. Comforting place and the staff was awesome!
The host is very nice and friendly, providing a lot of help. However, the room is a bit dirty and the bookings are messed up badly. I was asked to change to a different room during my stay and some others have made reservations but they are rejected for their stay. Location is a bit far, approximately 35 minutes to Old Town on foot, the rest are okay.
The owner of the apartments is incredibly kind and friendly. She is always around to check everything is okay. Great for back packers and those just holidaying.

The lady who owns this place is awesome. She brought us some potatoes and a big bowl of peaches for anyone to use. Very friendly lady! :-)
Nice location: a fews meters from the bus station, what is very convenient if you have a big luggage. The owner is very friendly. She received-me with fruits and, before a went to bed, gave-me lots of cookies. I really appreciate it. I would definitely return to Anchi Guesthouse.

Basically separate apartments converted into hostel beds; each apartment has kitchen and bathroom; Location is close to port and bus stations which goes to nice beach and old town; the owner family are very nice and supportive.
