Anchi guesthouse is a nice place. Anchi is a lovely lady that will probably treat you as if she's your mother! Always very kind and helpful! The location is good, close to the ferry and bus terminals. The bus to the Old Town go quite often and are not expensive at all. Good price.
My room has moulding smell. Door not easy to lock. No electric water pot in the room. Curtain could not block light at all. Very close to supermarket and bus stops. Not enough sockets for charging.
Some guy kept cooking fish in my apartment and not opening the windows. But once he left I was happy. The lady who runs the place is a delight.
The guesthouse's location is perfect for anyone coming to Dubrovnik by bus or boat, easy to reach the old town thanks to the buses which run regularly. Kitchen, common room and bedrooms are clean. One (maybe only) thing to improve: the wifi, so that people in the ground floor can get access to the network. I really appreciate the staff, you are really helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here when I come back to Dubrovnik again.
It is very good hostel. It is very near to the main bus station and harbor .
A stone's throw away from the station and dead cheap so I was happy. However, I feel that, rather than a 'guesthouse', this place is just a set of apartments with a ton of beds thrown into the rooms to maximise profit. There was no social area and little chance to meet anyone, so as a solo traveller I felt isolated. In 1 night of staying there were about 4 staff rotations, none of them introduced themselves. Great as a base to do Dubrovnik from; but not an experience in itself!
Good location close to the bus station and was very easy to find. Hostel was clean and apartments were spacious. However the wifi didn't work that well. Great hostel if you are having a short stay in dubrovnik and are not bothered about meeting other people etc. good value for money

Friendly staff, offered me snacks and refreshments upon arrival. A bit far from Dubrovnik's old town but the bus stop is right across the street. Close to the bus station which was the most important criteria for me to choose this accomodation. Clean and spacious rooms. The only downside was that it got extremely hot in the room at night, almost impossible to sleep there. Would stay there again.
Anchi Guesthouse seems to function as cute B&B-style apartments during the off season and a hostel during the summer. Each apartment has it's own kitchen and some have balconies overlooking a small garden. It's located near the bus station away from the crowds and jacked up prices of the Old Town, but is only ten minutes away by bus or 30 by foot. The wifi only really works from the owners' apartment upstairs. No lockers and some apartments can seem locked when they are actually unlocked!
It was a nice hostel in Dubranvnik very centrally located to the bus station for an easy in and easy out out of the city. Also a cheap bus ride to the center and a pleasant walk back as well.
My stay in this house was pretty good! The whole family is pretty nice and are here to help, to give advices and to guide people in this wonderful city! If you like being at "home" you'll enjoy this place for sure! Tristan
this hostel is super near to the port and bus station. for the first timer in dubrovnik, it is very easy to locate this hostel. the family, who runs this hostel is really friendly. they give me really warm feeling during my stay. the wife especially! she is not only a mother to her sons also to her guests. :)
I advise it for sure! Very close to the main port. Large living room, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bathroom. A Konzum supermarket is 1 minute far by walking.
The hostel is well located, just in front of the bus station. To the center are 15minutes by bus. The staff is very kind. The apartament has a good bed room and living room and a nice kitchen - is very pleasant apartment.
A really nice room in a shared apartment with also ktchen and all the necessary services. The position is good because near the bus station and the port, but not for the seasides that are reachable with frequent buses.
This family run guest house was fantastic! The location is great in terms of being able to get a bus or go to a supermarket. However a little bit of a walk to the old town. I would definitely stay there again if I returned to dubrovnik. The staff were fantastic and will help with anything. I highly recommend that everyone tries to stay here!
loved it here! wish I stayed longer. very quick walk from the main bus station (I came from the airport) and a nice 30min walk to the old town along the water. family owned block, and the dorms are the apartments, so you get your own bathroom and kitchen to share with about 6 people. and if you are sailing, its like 10 min walk from the boats.
The hostel is far from the old town but conveniently located near the bus station and ferry docks. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. A spacious guesthouse that is a pleasant surprise.
