The place is good, the staff speaks good english, they are helpful but fairly busy .
Really great hostel, great value for money, could do with being a block closer to the centre, as much of the more visitor orientated places are south of the drum tower not north. Its really easy to find though and the city centre is small enough to walk around no worries. We didn't try any of the tours or extras, but the bar and common area and friendly atmosphere definitely deserve a thumbs up
Really nice hostel near the North Gate of Xi'an. Highlight was the common room/bar area with a great selection of food and drinks (Western and Chinese) at surprisingly low prices, and some of the best coffee I've had in China. Toilets and showers all at a good level of cleanliness, beds comfortable if you're accustomed to Chinese mattresses, might be a bit hard for someone visiting from another country, though. Patient, helpful and friendly staff. Overall very good.
One of the best hostels! I love cleanness and this is the perfect example of clean! Warm and kind staff! Great people! A+
This was a great place! Friendly staff and a fantastic location in the heart of the walled part of Xi'an. This was our first hostel without my Chinese-speaking sister to help my boyfriend and me communicate with the staff, but they were very helpful and spoke enough English to help me find a vegetarian option for a cheap take-out dinner when my boyfriend was sick. (Although I did have to say "I don't eat meat" in Chinese for them to get that I was a vegetarian, but that was just true everywhere)
Best part of this hostel was the location. It's located 30 seconds to the closest metro stop, which you can take to Line 1 and Line 2. It was very convenient and in the middle of the city, only about 1 mile walk to the Muslim Quarter/Bell Tower or 1 stop. Breakfast in the cafe was good value for money, only 25-30 RMB for Western breakfast. Staff was helpful, maps were available as well.

very friendly, helpful staff...we truly enjoy our stay... we will come back again. highly recommended to any visitors
This was one of the best places we stayed in China. Our room was warm, clean and serviced every day! Staff were mainly friendly and very helpful. The downstairs bar was really nice too with a pool table. Only complaint would be that people were allowed to smoke in there and some rooms, despite big signs saying you can't.
Good hostel, nice location next to the metro. On walking distance of all the sights. Feels more like a hotel will hostel price. Very clean and nice rooms. Recommend.
Definitely a hostel geared towards Chinese tourists, but the staff was very helpful and I had no problems being an English-speaking tourist here.
This hostel was the best I stayed at in China. It is very clean and the facilities and furniture are new and modern. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The location is good, Walking distance to the Muslim quarter and just 3 bus stops from the railway station. Also the price is not too high. If I come to Xian again, I'll definitely stay at this hostel again.
