Really clean, great breakfast, lovely room, good wifi and a REALLY comfortable bed! Terry and Rung were amazing hosts and were so kind to us helping us when my boyfriend got sick. Thank you both so much. Perfect for a quiet stay as it was a bit of a walk to the busy beach area.

Welcome back anytime -perfect guests, we will be very happy to welcome you again and give you equally hospitable service. You'll see some changes too as we just reopened our doors 2 days ago after a complete refurb of the whole place every rooms been renovated. New reception, CCTV cameras and secure storage for our guests belongings, plus upgrade of wi fi and servicing of all our appliances inc air con and shower units, just to be safe.

Very good value, clean place to stay. Fantastic breakfast in the morning and the staff could not be more helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

Awesome hostel! The English guy who owns it is super friendly and chatty. Hostel is super clean and airconditioned. Had a blast here! The only bad thing is it's a 20 minute walk to the beach, but it's a nice easy walk so for the price it's perfect! Would stay here again!

Fantastic Hostel - the staff are so friendly and helpful, breakfast very tasty, rooms really clean, good free wifi access, location quiet and a nice walk from the beach - would definately reccommend this hostel to friends :)

After a second visit at Ao nang Vip Hotel, I can say only good things about this hotel. I highly recommend it to all people who want sleep in a clean and confortable hotel with attractive prices and a very friendly staff.

The staff are wonderful, very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very clean and tidy. The only downside is that it is at least a 20-30 min walk to the beach. You can always hire a tuk-tuk though!

Thank you for your review. Thank you for taking the time to write it. You can always expect to receive a warm welcome and our help the whole duration of your stay. As we are Western run we keep our standards up so the place is always clean and tidy and rooms are serviced everyday, thats all our rooms. At 20 baht to get to the centre by tuk tuk or songtaew its a small price to pay to be staying in a quieter area. Many of the hotels in the hub suffer from noise until 3 or 4 a.m.

Not a good place to come if your alone, i had a hard time meeting people because it lacks a common area big enough. If your interested in having time to yourself (or with a partner) then it is perfect.

If you want sleep in a room very clean and cheap, you have to come here! 15 mins in walk from the beach, staff very friendly, I will come back in this guest house.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review. We are a European managed hotel and so you can expect western standards at the hotel both in terms of service and cleanliness. All our rooms are serviced daily. In addition we provide a well cooked proper breakfast every day comprising tea or coffee, toast and jam, eggs, bacon, sausages, beans and hash browns plus fruit juice and fresh seasonal fruit, all for 125 baht. Thats not bad ! We very much hope we shall see you again in the future, in the meantime safe travels.

Security lockers are not big enough to fit bags into, you are therefore leaving your bag unsecured unless you have a pacsafe or similar device. Hostel is much further from the beach than expected, about 25 minutes by foot which can be exhausting in the heat of Thailand. Most people are using the hostel for one night before moving on after spending time on tong sai, so if you are staying for longer than one night I would reccommend there instead.
