Great value for money. The location is right were you want to be, the staff (especially the woman on the 16th floor) is incredibly welcoming and accommodating. All facilities are good, and everything is kept very clean which makes a huge difference with these cheaper hostels. A great deal
Very convenient location. Facilities in room are very compact，which is normal in Hongkong. Only one elevator in use，it really took us long time.
Great by comparisom with others Ive stayed at in Chunking Mansions- they're all small- thats just HK ;)
It's not as you can see on picture, it's a old building with many hostel and little room , but it's OK if you are here to visit and no more, don't expect to have room service or some other things ,
Very small but clean, good location

The Hostel was okay.. Location pretty creepy as a girl specially after 19:00.. Shower was good & toilet in one .. Only the bed was cracking and uncomfortable. But enough space for one person an luggage. Staff was really helpful they can tell you where to went ore not. Also great service :)

overprice when compare to other hostel in Chungking Mansion.
not the best but has everything a backpacker needs. I stayed in a 3 bed dorm room and a single room..both excellent. 24hour reception. I arrived at 3am they have no problem. Excellent wifi receptions. Provided shampoo, tooth brush and soap.Very clean. much better than i expected because during 3rd night i switched to another hostel in the same building which has small rooms, higher prices and lots of bed bugs! Those were killing me. I was so mad and I wish i was in Ashoka hostel.
Facilities were quite dirty, including cockroaches in the room, and the lobby smelled strangely like dog food. Wi-fi was sporadic at best. I did not receive the soap and shampoo, that I later found out should have been complimentary. I was woken up by an employee over an hour before check out time, who demanded it was time to leave, and stood over me for half an hour while I packed my things. There are other nicer hostels in Chung King Mansions.
The price was nice for the area, however I switched to a private room the second night because the dorm was sold out and the room was terrible. It cost me double the money and I saw several bugs each time I walked in the room! The facility was certainly not up to standard for a private room. That being said, it was still better than other places in the King Mansion block. Watch out for guys on the street who will take you to the wrong hostel and book you in!
