This place was really clean and the staff were extremely helpful. They went above and beyond to help us see the sights of Kyoto which was appreciated considering the limited time I spent there. The restaurant connected to the hostel does not have great food, but it looked like the drink menu was quite extensive. I would stay here again.

We had a very clean and comfortable stay, and we loved having the cafe/bar right next door.

Great Hostel, comfortable, clean, lovely big common area, the staff were very helpful, the showers were great! I really enjoyed my stay here and would stay again. The only thing is its a bit of a walk to Kyoto station, so maybe not the most central location but fantastic atmosphere!

I loooooved K's House, it is very close to Kyoto Station, everyone is very kind, they have common areas for the guests so it is easy to make new friends. I also loved the bar they have and the breakfast buffet that is avialable (additional cost but it is totally worth it). Just loved it!

I attended K's House Kyoto numerous times during my trip. The service and hospitality was second to none. K's House staff were very helpful in providing directions on what to see and do in the area.

Stayed several times but felt compelled to give the staff a higher rating, who have been friendly and helpful. Left a friendly note on the door asking me to come to the reception because a bed had come avail. for me during a busy time (most places were booked). Only thing keeping me from giving an "Excellent" rating for staff is the fact that they are usually a bit busy and the poss. for interaction are just not the same as those in smaller hostels. But that is not really the fault of the staff.

Friendly hostel with clean room and bathroom. The room 505 has weak and unstable wifi signal. And no any improvement after my feedback at my 1st night. But it is still a good place for traveler.

The women's dorm I stayed in would be a lot more convenient if there were electric outlets accessible to people sleeping in the top bunks! As it is, you can't keep your phone with you and charge it while you sleep. That's a significant inconvenience.

Nice hostel with clean rooms, modern style which lacks a bit of character. But there is a nice bar attached, which offers (for Japan) cheap drinks. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Cool rooftop bar

Who are the cleaning people? They obviously don't know how to do cleaning...

This was an AMAZING hostel!! The staff is super knowledgeable about their city. I went downstairs with a map, asked one of the staff, "I need to go here, here, and here tomorrow, how can it be done?!", and he completely planned my day for me, right down to which bus to get on and where. The facilities are super clean, the beds are comfy, and the bar downstairs has really cheap 500Y beer! A bit of a schlep from the station, but not terrible, and I will most certainly stay here next time!

A fantastic place! It felt a little like a high end hotel in some ways only with bunks! :)
