K\'s House Kyoto was not only the best hostel I\'ve stayed at in terms of cleanliness and facilities, but the staff was super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it!

Our time there was amazing. It was the perfect way to start our holiday in Japan, we've been spoiled a bit because we now expect the same level of service from other accommodation. Special thanks to Miki-san who made us feel so welcome and was always so helpful to us. Hostel? More like Hotel!! Be sure to read their notice boards for events and food recommendation alike. Also the 680 yen buffet breakfast is fantastic value.

Overall it is very good for this sort of accomdation. Very clean. Great common rooms, cheapish breakfast and nice bar. Walking distance to the tourist area. My only bother is the hard beds, so hard my shoulder kept going numb.

This hostel is good. Just 10 min from kyoto Station. The only thing which I didnt like was that we had to take off our shoes before we get in. There is area when you can put them and they give you a key to lock it. I respect the japanese culture a lot. But All places that I have been in Japan I didnt need to do that. All the guest that I saw in the hostel were from Europe, America, I didnt any japanese. Also, they make a lot of money charging people who lost the keys. Absurd price!

great hostel, ample, new, clean! A bit off from downtown, but with easy access (bus + subway) and in a very convenient location near Kyoto JR station. They rent bikes, a great way to explore the city - not winter, but for the rest of the year very convenient!

Staff were very helpful in almost everything. It's great that bags can be left before and just after you checked out. Also, it is great that you can stay in the lounge before checking-in and just after checking out. This is great especially if you need to kill some time before boarding your night bus.

K's House Kyoto is nice, clean and well located. But its too big and spacious to meet other travelers. The elevator is the only way to go up and down the floors so it gets pretty jammed up in the high traffic hours.

Excellent - Nearest to JR station and sightseeing areas like Kiyomizu-dera and Sanjusangendo were also nearby and could be covered by a 15-20 min of walk - Staff were truly supportive in explaining the guidelines and also further suggestions for the trip and stay - Security was good and bathrooms at all floors and kitchen with full of electrical appliances and utensils to use make it convenient stay further

This was my second time staying at K's House Kyoto and as before, I was very satisfied. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, but also friendly (Toru, especially!). The option to store luggage before and after check-in/check-out is super helpful, and the staff also helped me book an overnight bus. Wished I had more time to spend here!

overall it's a highly recommended place to stay, staff are great and place is clean, has all the basic utilities. However, it's a 10-15min walk to the JR Kyoto train station. If you are just there to sleep then it is well worth the price.
