We stayed in 3 K's House hostels whilst in Japan, and Kyoto was our favourite, it had a really good lounge area in the main building and the Buffet breakfast was cheap and convenient. For me it was very reminicient of a hostel called "Wombats" that I stayed at in Germany. Both seperated themselves from other hostels with their well maintained appearance and colouring. The 3 or more K's House Hostel discount was also a great plus to our trip as it saved us 1500Yen towards the end of our trip.

This a very nice place with very helpfull staff (they gave me a lot of very usfull informayions, great advises, make a booking for me because people were only speak in japanese...). Very clean. I appreciate the coffe and the tea facilities. I did not try the breakfast service because I find it was a little bit expensive. Impossible to connect me to the wire less connection, but they have 1 cable LAN connection. Little bit fare from the down town, but ok from the rail way station. Great experience

Perfect place to base yourself when exploring Kyoto. Everything you need at a great price. We were really happy with our double room, plenty of shared showers and toilets so no need to wait. The free lonely planet book rentals came in really handy and the helpful staff behind the counter even organised to send our snowboard bag to Tokyo airport so we didn't have to lug it on the bullet train. Highly reccomend this place.

I enjoyed my time in the guesthouse, it is a great one, staff is nice, atmosphere is cool but I find it a bit disappointing that no computer is available for free, it was the only one who maid customers pay for using the internet. Washing machine are expensive too. For the price we pay it should be free :)
