Its technically a different town from boston, but its about 10 mins on the train, not so bad. Staff are really nice. Wifi in the rooms is not so good so everyone in the common area has their nose in a phone. In a brazillian neighbourhood so theres some nice cafes within walking distance.

Great hostel to be perfectly honest. Met some great people and had a good laugh in the process.

The highlights of the hostel are very friendly staff and vintage decoration of the house(love the posters). It's not located in downtown, but they provide free shuttles from subway stn. to the hostel. The driver is a very friendly and interesting gentleman! The facilities are not very new, but it's okay as a hostel. And they have free computers for guests.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, very helpful with everything. Only comment to make would be to invest in more cutlery and cooking equipment. Overall wonderful stay.

it's a bit far out from the city centre but the staff are very obliging and drop you to the local subway station as your request. all in all it takes about 30mins to reach the downtown area. At night its a problem as the subway stops operating at 12.30am so you need to take a taxi which can be expensive. The hostel is quite big even though from the outside it looks very unassuming. There is a nice atmosphere and the staff are very nice. The facilities are good and the rooms are nice and clean.

This is not the type of place to come for a good nights sleep if you're trekking around the city. The hostel is suited to groups of young people who don't mind a lot of noise and are up for partying into the night. That is not what I had expected when I had booked and it resulted in my getting 4 hours of sleep before I left on the earliest possible shuttle. Make it clear on the website to expect an old, terrible bed, and lots of noise and people won't be disappointed like I was.

Owner Comment (Hide)
many groups are returning from summer camps and they tend to be a little louder, especially when they meet other friends at the hostel. We will do a better job to keep those groups quieter so they do not disturb other guests. We hope that didn't spoil your visit to Boston.

It was one of the most expensive hostels I've ever visited. Granted, it was cheaper than a hotel room. Boston is expensive.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good, clean hostel. It's a bit out of town but easily accessible by subway and the lovely staff drove us to the subway station. Breakfast of toast, jam, tea and coffee was included. Overall a great stay I would highly recommend.

A shuttle to Sullivan Station instead of or, in addition to, Wellington Station would allow people to more easily connect to Cambridge via the 86 bus (instead of going one station up or all the way to where the red connects to the orange line). Additional large size lockers to stow entire backpacks away during the day would be nice (all of them were taken and so I had to leave most of my things in the room during the day).

stay was ok , served its purpose i guess if you stayed for more than just a night it would be more fun there ..money wise I felt it was hopelessly overpriced but n the whole it was still the cheapest available in Boston ...

2nd year I have stayed here. Great little hostel, staff are friendly, go out of their way to help you out and ensure you have all you need for your stay. The hostel is in a good location for getting in and out of boston with the free shuttle helping ever more. Wifi had better coverage across the hostel than last year. I would stay here again if in the boston area

This is a fantastic hostel. The staff were so helpful and really went out of their way to help. They pick you up from the station which is great. The atmosphere is very homely and you feel relaxed straight away.
