I found just not ideal the position of the two bedrooms without natural ventilation with the only windows looking at the common kitchen where people cook and do parties till 1-2 AM!!! In one, I stayed!!! Regards

Very nice place and friendly staff (besides of one person being there in the evening, that did not even look at you when you were greating). A little way out of town, very clean. I stayed 3 nights.

I really liked this hostel. It was clean and had a good enough kitchen. Three very nice hammocks and the tours organized by the hostel were excelent!

Good valur for money for San Pedro. Basic rooms but a cool external area with hammock s, a bar and a fireplace. No breakfast but it doesn't matter as most travellers wake up before 7h to make day tours.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendly other travelers who shared lots of time together in the nice patio. Most of the stuff was really friendly and helpful. Its a wonderful place to relax and calm down!

Overall good Hostel and very helpful concerning organizing all trips you want, though a bit away from the "city center".

Staff did not know any Spanish, too many rules (its ok and necessary to have rules, but their rules where announced as if you are in a prison). Rooms where way too hot. Not enough bathrooms for people (luckily the hostel was not booked out. But if there would be a massive queue at the 2 bathrooms/showers/toilets). Rooms where too small (ok if you have almost n luggage, but the double was very squishy with two big backpacks). Rooms are too expensive for the stuff inside. No breakfast...

The Backpackers has a fantastic atmosphere and very great owners, Fabiola and Alvaro. They can ease our life with the tours' offers and varieties with promotional prices.

A noise curfew is meant to be in place due to a tour departing at 4am, but this was not policed on my 1st night and noise continued til at least 2.30am. One staff member never acknowledged anyone nor lifted her head from the computer unless spoken to, the others were mostly friendly and helpful. Definitely would have been hard to find without the hostel map that was emailed to me!

The staff is very nice and helpful. Before my arrival, they sent me tours information for planning in advance. Also the introduced tours are well-organised, and really gave me a better discount for tour package. The hostel atmosphere is very good and make the guests with fun. Hot shower is available during my stay. Location is l ittle bit far from the centre especially the lights are not enough in the streets, and most of houses are very similar. Generally, it is pretty good for its value

Big differences in service by different persons working there - one very nice & helpful, another quite bored and lazy... Dirty sheets. But anyway a nice and goodpriced place in overpriced san pedro.
