Do not stay here. The staff are really rude and not helpful at all. The showers are super cold. There's no atmosphere at all. The beds are okay but security is a bit of an issue. I'd pay a little bit extra for a decent hostel closer to town.

Disappointed with our ensuite room as we were told it would have hot water and that wasn't the case at all. Also the WiFi was pretty average but that wasn't really an issue for us, just mentioning as a heads up to others who may expect great internet access. Loved the campfires next to the bar and the double kitchen facilities as well. Would highly recommend toasting marshmallows!

Yeii, love this kind of hostels. Relaxed and great place to hang out after a long day exploring the great nature of San Pedro de Atacama. They have hammocks - who doesn't love hammocks? Feel free to light up the bondfire at night!

You have to pay a fee for drinking inside the hostel. Wasen´t close enough to the town.

When you make a booking, we send you an email and if you see the rules every where in the hostel, says "isn´t aloud come with alcohol to the hostel", wich part of this message is so difficult for understand? If you don´t follow the rules, you must pay.

We stayed here for 4 nights, really fun place and good to meet other travellers. a little bit out of town but not far to walk. The staff were helpful. The only thing I would not reccommend are the tours- they are almost twice as expensive as the tour agencies on the main street- shop around and haggle on prices- you will get a much better deal!!

The fact that internet didn't work on the last day of the stay meant that we had to pay in cash instead of credit card. But other than the non-functioning internet, it was a great stay with nice people.

Located pretty close to downtown San Pedro, this hostel was a good choice. The staff was reasonably friendly and the cleanliness was okay, but nothing special. The disappointing factor was the facilities, the wifi did not work, the gas in the kitchen frequently went out, and the showers were not consistent.

Although the Hostal has a very high Ranking, it has a few negativ aspects. First of all the Staff, in the Beginning very friendly, but when a problem arises, they get rude and even lie to you. One is the Internet, it offen crashes in the hostel, and till they fix it it may take 24h - like in our case. Another one is the laundry, they lit a fire EVERY evening and when u wanna sit outside, all your clothes smell. And the clothes they wash for u, smell as well, because they dry them outside.

There were no hangers in the bedroom, showers were often non functioning, the bathroom doors were always closed from inside, wifi did not work in the second bedroom area ol(and its pretty slow when working). Atmosphere is good specially when the fire is lit in cold nights. Recommendable for those who searches for low profile stay and time to enjoy the hostel.

The hostel and the staff was amazing and very helpful. They looked professional in their roles: they organized the trips very efficiently and helped to solve any problems. The location is a bit out of town, but since the whole town can be reached in 10 minutes, it does not really matter. The WiFi was someone slow, that could be a little bit faster. Cleanliness was also perfect, they cleaned the common areas every day.

Nice for a few days. The rooms are really tiny but the atmosphere in the hostal was good.we had a great time there.they have a pool :-) and of course hangmates. We had warm water and the bathrooms were clean. Negative was that they had problems with the internet connections. So it wasnt working for the hole day but maybe its an lokal problem

A little out of town (5-10 mins walk), but excellent staff and atmosphere. Booked several tours through hostel all of excellent quality and reasonably priced. Poor water pressure in showers (I think fairly typical for San Pedro) and only warm in the mornings. No included breakfast but good kitchen facilities. Rooms clean and warm at night.
