Nice hostel with nice people, good kitchen and breakfast included. helpful to book tours and activities through. hot showers don't really work, but not a huge issue, quite a walk away from the main town but doable.
Excellent hostel! Though it is not too far from the bus station, it is right on the outskirts of town - don't do what I did, and turn up at midnight without the map (which they send you after you book). The rooms were good, the hostel was nice and relaxed. Only downside is that the bar closes quite early, due to surrounding residents. The staff are extremely helpful, and you can book a trip to do any of the activities available in the town right from reception.
Stayed in the 4 bed dorm which was a little cramped. Nice courtyard area with a pool and lots of places to sit and relax. Staff were friendly and there was a good atmosphere every night at the bar. Tours were cheap also. Would recommend
Clean, cheap, basic single rooms (with paper thin walls). Staff was mixed. One staff member refused to sell me a bottle of water 10 minutes after the bar had closed, and we had been drinking their beer all afternoon. Fridge was directly behind him and I had exact change. Not the most responsible hosting. It is a decent walk to town, in the heat. Hostel is improving, with new, very paddle pool and table tennis. Storage room for bags left unlocked a lot. Overall not recommended.
Even though it seems out of town it really isnt and I really enjoyed the chill atmosphere of the place. I met some really cool people. They offer excursions that will pick you up right at the hostel. They do need to fix there shower scenario though as a majority of time it was cold.
This is not what we expected. We stayed one night and immediately found another hostel and cancelled the rest of our stay. The location is far out of the main square in an area that does not feel safe. The bathrooms were dirty and did not have hooks to hang towels. The pillows were little lumps of matted batting and the lockers were located outside the room and were so small, they were about the size of a shoe box. The wi-fi was slow. This hostel is decent for 20-somethings on a budget.
Although further out the vibe here makes up for it. I loved my stay here and had the best sleep in 6 weeks every night for 5 night . Loved San Pedro
I loved the pool!

Although a bit out if tiwn the atmosphere made up for it. Room for improvement - showers were not always turned on for hot water. It would be good if all bathrooms had the same standard as front one near reception - mirror, hooks, water flow. Loved San Pedro and it's relaxed vibe.
Really nice hostel with a cool atmosphere and vibe. Bit of a walk from the centre of town but it's a small town. Hot water was a bit inconsistent. Staff very helpful, nice and can organise a number of tours.
+nice atmosphere +always clean bathrooms + toilets -expensive, but hay, you are in San Pedro, every Hostel is expensive there -a bit outside of the town -Don´t book your tours in the Hostel! there charge you much more than when you go and buy your ticket in an agency in town!
It's just a little thing.......if you can't smoke in the dorms ......for obvious reasons,.......then you shouldn't be allowed to smoke just outside the dorm window.......it blows right in!!!!! We all do not smoke or enjoy being next to people who do.
Great atmosphere and common area. Two kitchens fully equipped. Impossible to find without a map, and even then a challenge. Don't stay if you don't like cats. I woke up with one on my pillow! Staff excellent.
Nice hostel. It is about as good as it gets in San Pedro. The only minor downside is the location, but luckily San Pedro is a small village and everything is still in walking distance.
Really good and clean hostel with a great athmosphere and helpfull staff (english and spanishspeaking/you can book all relevant tours here). Recommended aswell to single travellers because in the patio you can easily meet other travellers.
Great hostel, very laid back atmosphere. Campfire at night. Hammocks out in the yard. Beers cheap. Wifi slow but I think it's probably more of a problem with the town itself. No free breakfast but 2 kitchens so easy enough to make your own. Would recommend this hostel.
You were so helpful with booking tours and providing information about San Pedro but the barman plays music too early in the morning and the cleaners were banging around in the kitchen at 6am.
Great place to stay while you are in San Pedro. Close to the center. You have a garden to relax, 2 kitchens ( the breakfast is not included) and the dorms are clean. Very helpful staff, and the will make sure you feel like at home ! Bonfire is organized at evenings !
