Travelled here alone. Atmosphere was nice at points but I couldn't have stayed there much more than a few nights. Staff were awesome and very helpful. Obviously it's a stop gap for the Whitsundays. Maybe not the greatest place if you're travelling solo (I met more people on the boat).

Staff were very helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome and included in hostel life. The provision of a shuttle bus to the marina and greyhound bus stop was a big plus also. Unfortunately the hostel, whilst ok, is dated and showing signs of wear, particularly in the bedrooms and in the kitchen (cookers). Rooms are cleaned but the mattresses and linen are very worn. Furthermore the sound proofing is not good so try to get a room away from the bar if you want a good night's sleep.

Nice and quite hostel just as expected. Problems with parking as advertised free parking then no space. Good to have evening social to get people to mix. Very handy having shuttle to marina.

Staff really friendly and helpful especially when booking trips and hostels. Good internet and nice little bar. A few minutes walk to the town and marinas. Rooms could do with updating

Great location, atmosphere and staff. Very clean except for the toilets now and then.

Our room had french doors that didn't actually lock - there was just a chain lock so it made me rethink leaving all my valuables in the room for long periods of time. We also shut this door on two occasions because of safety and so no insects got in the room but twice we came back and it had been opened by cleaners that we were unaware would be coming into our room. Other than that it was a good hostel, and not very far to walk to any location.

Decent hostel but very quiet. Staff are very friendly and keen to help. Location is closest to bus stop but a little walk into town/ beaches.

Very friendly staff, located just off the main street. Good place to stay if you don't want the party hostels along the main strip.

I really liked this hostel. Nice little garden, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, really clean kitchen, clean rooms, funny and really clean bathroom, enough space in the showers to put the clothes. It is not on the main road as the other hostels but it is only a 5 minute-walk to the center and there is a free bus-shuttle that picks you up from premier/greyhound station. It was a great stay!

Staff members were lovely and helpful. Bonfire was also very nice and created a nice environment. Room and bathroom were not amazing (bathroom didn't drain properly), but were fine.

Such a fab hostel!! The staff are all so lovely, the location is so close to everything! There's a bbq in the evenings and a quiz which helped everyone get to know each other. One of the best hostels so far 😃

Really nice chilled out hostel. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. The owner makes an effort to get to know everyone's name and bit about them which is a really nice touch! There is luggage storage which cost just $6 and they have a safe for valuables too. Was even able to shower after my boat trip which was a huge bonus!

Great hostel providing everything you need: good kitchen, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and a really helpful staff that will answer all your questions with a smile. they have a $1.50 hot dogs every night that are a great value if you don't want to cook. Quiz nights are great to meet people and If you haven't booked your sailing boat to whitsundays there is board (updated daily) next to reception that offer great discounts on the sailing boats...
