On our last night, which was booked later, we were moved to a new room. When we entered the room; around midnight, there was a very bad smell from the sever in the bathroom

Hotel Barrio Latino was a great choice for us! Two blocks away from the main tourist area and tree blocks from the beach, it was quiet enough to get a good night sleep and you are in close proximity to everything.Staff was really friendly, our room was nice, there was AC and Internet! We had free breakfast included and there is computers and phones for guest use.The hotel has a really nice garden and two cute puppies laying around ,which we never heard barking!

Lovely place, nice environment, great staff, perfect location, very secure. Lots of rules though including no visitors, no alcohol, and minimal food provided at breakfast.

This clean little hotel was only a block away from 5th Avenue, the 'peatonal' with shops and restaurants. Always someone at the tiny reception all hours of day/night to let guests in and out. The rooms clean and comfortable with private baths, all on 2nd floor facing breakfast 'palapa' on patio so it was quiet at night. Each with a hammock outside door in case it's too hot to sleep inside, although all have ceiling fans. Only caveat - bring your bug spray for mosquitoes!
