Bob Marley House Hostel Reviews

I booked this hostel for three nights but ended up staying there 2 weeks. The people and atmosphere makes you feel welcomed there. The staff will always come to help and give you a good advice. They have nice dinner couple times a week and always invite the guests to share it. The guys are very generous and funny.This place is for the budget travelers and does not offer the luxury of the expensive hotels for sure. But what can be more memorable, the fun atmosphere or expensive bar of soap?

Great place, can't think of any flaws.

Happy (AKA Saeed) is as helpful and kind a host that anyone could wish for. Whether you need a hearty breakfast or a trip to one of the many sights, he and his staff (Mohammed and Ashraf) are only too happy to help. Just don't agree to get on the back of his motorbike!

At first,I thought we were not going to make it to get there, because when I called the number provided in a confirmation message sent by HostelWorld,the person who answered it told me the hostel was in fire last night and for us to go to another hotel (his sister's).It was a very strange story,so we decided going to Bob Marley House address. When we got there, the staff (always very kind) told us this person alawys makes stories up. The hostel is great and very well maintained.Worth staying.

Booked this Hostel for 3 nights whilst passing through luxor, Was surprised there was no evidence of Bob Marley in the Bob Marley House ? Hostel was VERY dirty and intimidating but we decided to stay as we were so tired. Next morning we left to visit a temple, on return it was obvious that our bags had been tampered with, on checking the 3 bags a total of $400 was missing ..... We decided not to stay and fight with the staff and left immediately and contacted the Police, BE WARNED !

Great place to stay in Luxor. Very good location, clean rooms and decent bathroom. The best thing about Bob Marley hostel was definitely the staff! They made great breakfast every morning, they were friendly, helpful and organized several trips for us at reasonable prices.There were no insects, only a small gecko on a wall. Simply, very nice hostel in reggae style.
