We enjoyed our stay at Bob Marley House Hostel. Make sure you check your junk mail for the e-mail directly from Maria to coordinate bus station pick-up. The owners of the hostel went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay and it was easy and reasonably priced to book a trip with them to valley of the kings etc. The breakfast was very nice and included jam/cheese and bread, yogurt, banana, eggs and coffee/juice. Great experience and affordable!

This is the hostel to stay at in Luxor. Clean, quiet location, with excellent rooftop bar to meet other travellers. Staff go out of their way to help you. They do not push any tourist traps. Highly recommended. Compared notes with other travellers in the area and this was the cheapest and funnest.

It was fantastic in terms of value for money. Especially, 2 things were amazing. Staff and breakfast. They are willing to help you whatever you ask if they can do that. Dont hesitate to go to this place unless you are millionaire. By kim from S.Korea

The Bob Marley Hostel is a wonderful place to base yourself while in Luxor. Based on a quiet side street it's close to the action of but away from the haslers and rip-off merchants that plague the areas directly outside the main hotels and sites. Maria and Sayed who run the place are more than happy to spend time chatting, sharing tips and generally being great hosts. The hostel is well kept and has a brilliant roof terrace that is well worth the trip up the stairs. A great place to unwind

It feels like coming home. Maria and Sayed take care of everybody and are allways willing to help where ever they can. The breakfast is very good. The view from the roof is great, over Luxor towards the mauntans of the Westbank. There are even sunbeds and it is allowed to take a sunbad in your swimming clothes. It is an oasis of peacefullnes in a very busy part of Luxor. I am sure I will stay there again next time.

Bob Marley is a place where east meets west. With the help of Maria, Sayed, Mahmoud, Mohammed and Yasser, you will have a good stay, big breakfast, caring service and higher standards considering the Egyptian standards. I have rated with a top grade considering the standards of the country and the value for money (not necessarily a benchmark for a western standards). Ask for any help if necessary as they are very willing to help to sort out your problems and make your trip comfortable!

The best hostel in Luxor. Good location, near a big supermarket and local markets. Good staff. Informative orientation. Wonderful roof. Excellent breakfast. I wanted to stay longer.

Great Hostel, loved the owners and the staff, very nice people. Awesome atmosphere to chill, amazing rooftop I slept on a few times. Nice and close to Luxor temple and loads of stores and good cheap food. Amazing breakfast fully catered to from the staff, and they have a bodum so I can actually have good coffee!!! Very cheap lunches too that look great. Cheap shisha and the cheapest hostel beer yet! Awesome paintings throughout the place, well decorated. Defiantly a recommendation!

It has a nice roof with a great view in which people can go and relax, and also have a few cigarrettes without disturbing tne non-smokers like us.The hostel is really good and offers a great service for real, nobody from Bob M. told us to write this great review, contrary to what other hostels have offered. The breakfast is plenty and staff are very nice.

We had an amazing time here! Thanks so much to Maria and Sayed for giving us advice, plan our trip with us and taking so much care. We had a great time in Abu Simbel and Aswan because you organised everything for us. Thanks for a special hostel-stay that we will remember for a long time ;-) I can really recommend this hostel - the owners picked us up from the train station and made sure we had every information about Luxor and Egy that we needed (e.g. only pay a third of the price for a scarf).

The hotel/hostel is a nice place to stay, the ownet is really helpful and friendly and what is the most important she is not pusshy with tours like in other hotels/hostels. The room are spacious and relatively clean, however the bathrooms need more cleaning. The location is very good and the staff is excellent, unfortunately the rooms are a bit cold. Despite a few slips i would recommend this place.
