I was not looking for a luxury place, just a room that is clean and bath down the hall. The elderly woman in charge only spoke Italian but we figured everything out okay and we were left alone. The bathroom was clean and tidy, the room adequate. There were no problems or tie ups. The location is good though not in the luxury part of town. We found no problem with safety when outside in the neighborhood If you want a lower cost place to visit Bologna without frills, this is a good place

Really nice woman who runs the place. She didn't remember that we were coming but quickyl prepared the room for us, which happened to be a really nice room. She couldn't find her receipt book and let us put our stuff down and wander through the city rather than making us pay right upfront which i really appreciated. Big comfortable bed and a couch with TV and wifi which was very nice. Overall, we had a very good stay at the hostel.

Very familiar and cosy. Love the style of the decoration (there's a mixing of antique and modern objects...). The landlady is nice. The worst thing, our room wasn't padlocked!! The doors were like a wardrobe... and despite of the name, it doesn't have breakfast.

We had a really nice stay at this hostel - the rooms are very cosy and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They lent us an umbrella when it was raining and even a netbook to use the internet. They made us change rooms at some point but in return we got breakfast:)

It was a very nice, clean place to say. I only wish the doors were a bit easier to open and lock.

I was only here for 2 nights so I wasn't expecting too much. My room was large with a working TV & the bed was comfy to sleep on. Shower was working fine & the man was friendly & helpful; Thank you for the pasta by the way it was delicious! Only fault was the the location was pretty far from the centre.

The hostel by itself was ok. But it would be nice if the owners weren't coming into the room all the time. But some people might like the familiarity of that. There was no possibility to lock the room. Also as it was in February it was freezing cold. They brought me tiny extra radiator but that did not help much. Apart from that the man was quite nice offering me lunch and coffee. Maybe a good place for a weekend trip and not if you have to stay there for longer.

The single room they gave me was actually a kitchen, so if you are not fine with it you should contact the owner before making the booking.

The hostel is located near the city center. Staff is nice and helpful. The room is rather cold in the winter - it will be good to equip it with electric kettle, so guests can prepare hot water for themselves.
