Stayed in cottage which was comfortable and charming. Appreciated the cot so we could spread out a little. Thanks also that the kitchen and bathroom were clean. Throughly enjoyed sleeping with the windows open to the mountain air and the quiet. Loved the neighborhood and the proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway and hiking trails. My only suggestion is to post "cash/check only" on hostelworld and your website.

This was my first experience staying at a hostel and I would certainly do it again after staying at Bon Paul and Sharky's. It was obvious Jeremy cared about all his guests without hovering or being annoying. As a single woman traveling alone, I appreciated the professionalism and the courtesy that was given me, along with the warm hospitality. A+++

Maybe the beds aren't the most comfortable in the world but overall it was great. It's a cute place with the most homey atmosphere of any hostel I've ever stayed in and I liked it better than Sweet Pea's for that reason.

I will go out of my way to recommend Bon Paul and Sharky\'s to friends, family, acquaintances, and strangers. I cannot be effusive enough in my praise of the hostel itself and the kind and helpful people who run it.

Jeremy was amazing, such a cool guy, really accommodating. Thanks for building up the fire on the last night, it was a great way to meet everyone in the hostel. I'd definitely recommend that place, and I'll be coming back next time I'm in Asheville.

I felt safe here, had fun talking with guests. I liked that I could use their stove/oven and refrigerator- that rocked! They also had internet. The only hiccup was that when using the hostel's own website to try to book, I had no response. Glad for hostelworld. Finally the manager emailed me on the day I arrived, saying he had been away. But there were at least 4 other staff members there when I arrived, and none answered my prior voicemails or emails. I asked about heat. It was warm enough.
