I felt safe here, had fun talking with guests. I liked that I could use their stove/oven and refrigerator- that rocked! They also had internet. The only hiccup was that when using the hostel's own website to try to book, I had no response. Glad for hostelworld. Finally the manager emailed me on the day I arrived, saying he had been away. But there were at least 4 other staff members there when I arrived, and none answered my prior voicemails or emails. I asked about heat. It was warm enough.

We really had a great time. We were in the Cottage out back. Really cozy and had everything at our disposal. Nice bars close by and great food. If you have a car it's great. If you don't, it's a ways to actually get into downtown. But, for the money, you can't beat it. Nice people. Will stay again.

A very cozy environment!

No complaints, was comfortable and close to everything I wanted to see, located is historic downtown Asheville but a two minutes drive from modern downtown. Staff was friendly, gave me a tour and directions to to my location. Security was good. Clean. Hot tub if you are there in the summer.

Had a difficult time rinsing out my private parts in the shower because it was basically just a mist coming down from the shower head.

I had a truly fabulous time!

Wicked hostel! Heaps friendly, loads to do, easy to get downtown and good price. Would stay again for sure. Cheers lads!

Staff was excellent. Very friendly and willing to share information about the area. It was a little pricey for a hostel, but we enjoyed our stay very much. Asheville is great!
