About

Make Asheville easy. Make it comfortable. Make it social.
Lazy Tiger is clean, cozy, and welcoming from the moment you walk in.
A home base between mountain days and music nights.

We’re a small, owner-operated hostel built for travelers who want both comfort and connection. Our open common areas make it simple to settle in, see where people are hanging out, and meet someone without it feeling forced.

Start the day with complimentary breakfast and locally roasted coffee, then get out into the Blue Ridge Mountains. Come back, swap trail notes, grab a post-hike beer, and head into town for breweries and live music with new friends.

And yes, you’ll meet Chloe, our house dog and official greeter.

We’re minutes from downtown Asheville with quick highway access to trails and the river. If this sounds like your kind of stay, book a bed and come join us!

This was my first hostel stay in the continental USA, and it was very impressive. The place is very accessible from the highway, secure in/out of the premises and into each dorm. The host, Ryan, has done a great job welcoming all the guests and meeting everyone's needs. The check-in instructions were also very clear. He also built a website with traveler-essential information and recommendations such as restaurants, activities, destinations, etc.
