A really nice Youth hostel, near a mini market and bus stop (2 minutes). The reception is relaxed. Then: I have never seen a Youth hostel bed so confortable!! And the bathrooms are spacious. I won over by the stay

This hostel was a great spot for us. Definitely note for Skye adventurers that this is is Broadford, not Portree where most people will go. It is super cute with lovely paintings and was a great spot for us. Would absolutely stay again. Wasn't too much atmosphere to rate, but think we might have been the only people staying as it was the middle of January!!

Unfortunately they started to heat only at 6pm, which is why it was cold when we arrived. The rest was really nice!

Great staff, clean facilities, great lounge dining room and living room. Would recommend to everyone.

We appreciated being there with unobtrusive staff and very pleasant other residents. The main drawback was that the building felt very much like an institution and the arrangement of bedrooms meant a complete curfew on using the majority of social space after 23:00. That's a bit early for us. Given the serious limits to the accommodation our price of over £40.00 seemed a bit steep. Good but nothing special and a bit expensive for what we got.

They were a bit understaffed while we were there, and a few bulbs were out and wasn't really replaced while we were there. The staff managed to lend us a lamp, though. Location is quite close to the bus stop where all the buses and tours stop/drop, with some but not extensive food choices. On the other hand the Co-op supermarket about 10 min walk away is very well stocked and the kitchen facilities are good. Plenty of sockets in the room, but no lockers.

Very average hostel. I only identified one member of staff, not sure if there were others. You have to make your own bed on arrival and strip if when leaving - a bit lazy out of the staff at this price point. I'd imagine it's a lot better when the weather is good; nice green surroundings with outdoor space. There's not much to see in Broadford.

The outside looks a bit skeevy as it's a building up for sale and a bit dilapidated, but once you get to the hostel part around the back the inside is fairly nice and snug. Five showers separate to toilets which is good, lots of hooks in them for clothes! The room itself was clean, mattress a bit creaky though. Nice common room but wifi access a bit spotty. Kitchen was fine for us but on the small side, I imagine it's pretty crowded when there's a few people cooking.

Nice and quiet off the main highway. Great to have free parking on-site. We especially liked the house cat. Lots of refrigerator space, especially some of it outside the kitchen so we could keep cold items accessible while kitchen was closed. Sometimes a little hard to locate the staff, but all very friendly. Lounge was good-sized and our room was close enough to the lounge for us to get Internet access from the room.

Great hostel with good kitchen, rooms, and facilities. seemed pretty clean and promoted socializing which was great. the only thing is that its on the south side of the island and takes a while to travel up north where most of the major scenic areas are. other than that was great!
