The staff was excellent and nice. We felt as if we were at home. The other people staying in the Hostel was very nice and friendly and the layout of the hostel is fantastic.

Location was great for town, however for isle of Skye landmarks it was quite far. The place was nice and comfortable however thin walls so you can hear everything your neighbours are up too. But easily fixed with some ear plugs!

hopefully you're out doing awesome things, so don't worry too much about ratings or reviews about the place. the fact that it's on isle of skye should give it a 20% bump. important stuff: beds are pretty comfy and warm, the rooms have decent space. no lockers though. not important stuff: common areas are small and dead (again, get outside), kitchen is so-so. bathrooms are clean for the most part.

Pros: easy to find, friendly staff, tidy, Cons: Didn't like that we had to make our own beds and not all of the showers worked.

Staff very helpful. Thank you xx

A confortable hostel lacking heating, wifi in the rooms and equipment in the kitchen. Staff was either very helpful or extremely annoying and weirdly childish. Hot showers were a blessing after long hikes! Broadford is not that great if you depend on public transport to explore the island, but there's some good hikes around. They couldn't provide a map or any information on hiking trails on the island, which is weird because that's one of the main reasons to come to Skye.

The kitchen is too small for a hostel this size. There are not enough amenities to store goods, the fridge is too small, one cooker did not work correctly. Most pans were in desolate condition and there were too few. Not enough crockery and cutlery.

Well stocked and equipped kitchen. My only complaint is the lighting in the room (we had a double bed private). We had a replacement lamp very quickly, but then one of the overhead lights burned out, as did the one over the sink. Also, the front door gets left open sometimes, which results in midges coming in. I did get bitten like crazy on my arms the first night, despite not opening the room windows and keeping the door shut!

lockers aren't in the room, which is not a huge issue. wifi can be slow if everyone is using it at the same to me but beds were comfy, rooms were very clean, kitchen was fully equipped. really cute lounge area and dining room for people to use, overall a really nice stay!

I definitely recomend!;) very cosy...the dining and the living rooms are awsome...the showers were clean and big!

Nice hostel, laid back staff and good atmosphere, made for a pleasant stay. Was not disappointed with accommodation or facilities idea place to stop on Skye would recommend. Clean accommodation with plenty of showers in the morning.

While the outside of this hostel looks slightly like a haunted medical centre in a film, the inside is bright, clean, and spacious. The people are friendly and they have a large dvd collection with some strange options. Since Broadford is a small town everything you may need in town is within easy walking distance.

Close to everything in Broadford, honestly we got off the bus and walked right up the road. It took no time at all, and close by there is a café, restaurant, pharmacy and cute stores. I loved the rooms and it felt very safe here and secure for my belongings. Great kitchen and dinning area, so they do your laundry for you at a good price.

Fantastic place. The common room is nice and homely stacked in board games, movies, tea and coffee- perfect after a days hiking!

Dining room not spacious enough. Room coult not be locked.

Very basic, old furniture and messily decorated. Overall appearance very shabby and not very good value for money.

Despite the claims on the website, it was not possible to do laundry. We had just arrived from a seven-days hike so that was rather annoying. The wifi did not work in the room and even in the dining room it was very weak. Otherwise the double room was ok, and the showers were clean.

Our stay was nice, clean showers, nice lounge room, well equipped kitchen and dining room. Two things bothered me, though. The lights in the lounge room were very dim, it was very hard to read in a book. And there was mold at the window in our room, you should take care of that before it gets worse.

I had a pleasant stay at your hostel.
