My single room turned out to be a gigantic, clean and very well decorated half of a villa, with its own garden compound and front porch. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and although it's tucked away in a small lane, a two-minute walk takes you to Jalan Legian and party central in Kuta is only a short walk further south. Didn't try the pool but it looked clean and I saw a couple of guests using it. For a secluded and quiet spot deep inside a walled compound in Kuta, this is the place.

Apart from the dark alley walk and lots of mosquitoes, the place is amazing. Very nice villa style. The staff are friendly :)

Stayed there for 2 nights. The place is located in a not very well lighted side street. Facilities are good value for money and staff was just amazingly helpful.

Nice and clean, helpful staff, good location. These villas are an excellent value for South Bali. They are close to the center, but in a peaceful, garden setting in a quiet side street. Feels like the Bali of your imagination, but close to town and the airport.

It was a nice stay (if xou stay in a 3 bedroom), it is a 3 min walk to the main street forall the bars but nearly 15 min to the beach. The stuff is really nice and helpfull. The facilitiesare okay, but don't want to much:-) It is good for the price and the pool is nice:-)

The villas were clean and spacious, but the hostel could benefit from better lighting in the alleyway leading up to it from the main street. The staff was incredible and so accommodating to any of our needs.

The Buddha Guest Villas are a nice place in general. The bungalows look traditional and sweet. The staff is friendly but the place is just not looked after, especially our bathroom was a real challenge.

Staff very friendly! However pictures online were misleading.. Pool very small. The hotel is located in a back alley so being a flashlight. There were coach roaches in the bathroom

The staff were wonderful made our stay very comfortable. After a bad first night we were moved to a beautiful villa.Make sure you know what room your getting,we felt the place was falsely advertised, the pictures were stunning and what we got was completely different. The 'garden view' was a mud patch, the room was very small, it crawled with cockroaches, the fridge was unsafe, the bathroom was full of mould the plumbing leaked every time you turned on the tap. The power cut at night so no air

Really enjoyed staying here, we were made to feel very welcomed and homely. Loved the pool facilities however we did have a few problems with the electric and wifi but they were sorted out as quickly as possible.

The room was really small, there was no decent piping system in the bathroom, there were bugs and crocroaches in the bedroom, a horrible rusty fridge, and weridly little glass bricks on the roof just on the head of the bed, so as soon as there is daylight it just goes straight into your face. Appart from that the location is good, but for this sort of money you can find better places with breakfast included. We had been in other places around Indonesia, and this one was horrible.

Definitley okay for the money, although the room didn't get cleaned once in the three days we were there, but I guess we could have said something if we wanted someone to change the sheets ;) I gotta say, it has a awesome location, very quiet, nice pool, very close to Legian Street, and as soon as you know your way around you can get to the beach in about 10 minutes. I'd recommend it :)

I found the place to be so serene and quiet even though it was so close to town.As for the staff, like all the Bali people I met, were most helpful and always had a smile on their faces.I loved hanging out by the pool with wi-fi available there as it was everywhere on the premises.I couldn't recommend the place more. I stayed in a number of hostels there and this one by far was the best. Availability there was the only reason i had to move on as I was in Bali for almost a month. So book early.

Really enjoyed are stay here, bungalows were really nice with plenty of space. Especially impressed with the outdoor facilities. Owner (Mike I think) made an effort to drive over and say hello on our first day which was a nice gesture!
