This has to be one of my favorite hostels in Costa Rica. Great, friendly staff, with convenient, clean facilities. Going on an adventure? Book it right at the office and the company picks you up in the morning/afternoon. Great breakfast cooked for you every morning. I really have to recomend this place!!

Cabinas El Pueblo was great! Staff was friendly, area was safe/secure, and room was clean. Location is right near the supermarket and the center of the downtown, with plenty of sodas/restaurants within walking distance. Only downside was that the room was close to the street, so a bit noisy at night.

My husband and I have stayed in countless hostles over the years and this one truly has been the best! The staff:Jenifer, Freddy, and Melanny were so helpful and gracious it was as if we were staying with close friends or family at their own place. As for location it can't get Any better. It's behind the large supermarket/ gift shop which puts it just 30 seconds from the main strip but without all the noise from the continuous traffic. Lastly the rooms were super clean and comfortable

Awesome hostel! Great vibe, amazing breakfast made-to-order, nice, clean facilities. Jose at the front desk was super helpful arranging free transport for us to Selvatura Park and booking a Night Hike - all the staff was very friendly and genuinely wanted to help. Good coffee too! Only downside was no hot showers, but would definitely return here.

We enjoyed the mountains and with the rain and wind we still found the accommodations fit our needs. We really enjoyed the sloth Freddy pointed out to us. And the breakfasts were always delicious.

This really was one of the nicest hostels we had during our stay in Costa Rica! Good location: just 1 minute from the supermarket and city center. We even saw a sloth in the tree next to the hostel!:-) The people are really friendly, rooms are very clean and our room even had a private refrigerator, TV and a nice balcony. Freddy and Marylenny, thank you very much for your hospitality! We definitely recommend Cabinas El Pueblo to all people passing by! Las dos chicas de Bélgica
