Cabinas Vista was awesome! We initially booked a double with a shared bathroom but something got screwed up and we ended up with a private bathroom and they were willing to let us stay in the room with a private bath during our whole stay there. The room and bathroom were really clean too. The view from the hostel was beautiful. It was also very close to the center of town. Diego was very helpful and was always willing to help and answer any questions! I was very impressed with this hostel!Cabinas Vista was awesome! Fantastic!! I was given an apartment when I complained my room didn't have enough window for air ... it was comfortable, clean, great view and above all cheap - only $30/night. Great location, just 8 min. walk to supermarket & town but rocky road & hill made it somewhat difficult. The staff are fantastic, family run and very helpful. Arrange your tours there!! If I return to Monteverde I would definitely choose Cabinas Vista Al Golfo again. The Amistad next door has great typical dinner!Fantastic!!
