my first accommodation in Japan, and it was a very good experience. I really enjoy the capsule hotel life, lounging around in a robe, having a bath, going to the restaurant. Everyone there is quite friendly, and as a non-Japanese speaker I was able to figure out what was going on. I definitely recommend it!

This is a great place for an overnight (or longer) stay in central Osaka. The man at the reception spoke English reasonably well and was very helpful in telling us where to get the train to the airport and recommending restaurants close by. The facilities were all good and all clean and there seemed to be adequate English translations where necessary. I would definitely recommend this place; and staying in a capsule hotel is quite an interesting and unique Japanese experience.

Interesting set up, you will have almost everything you need inside the hotel. Its location is also great for the young at heart, with many local snack available near by, It is a must for anime goods fans, as there is a 2nd hand store just steps away from its door.

This place is about 70% Japanese businessmen using the facility for that which it was meant, and about 30% foreign tourists who thought it would be neat to stay in a capsule for a night. I was one of those, and it was a good experience. The capsule was actually quite comfortable and the bath facility was very...cultural. Everyone has to do this once.

Don't go here if you're a solo traveler, it's impossible to meet other people there. When that's said, everybody should try to live in a capsule at least once in their life. Probably not coming back though.

Well equipped, with onsen, sauna, small things like pajamas, facial lotions and hairbrushes. But the air conditioning is very poor, so the air is really stuffy. And besides that, it is allowed to smoke in the public room, so the tobacco smell can be felt almost in all premises.

For the females, this was a great place to stay. Very relaxing, clean, warm and secure. For the males however, not so much. They were kept awake most of the night by their capsule neighbours taking advantage of the two free adult entertainment channels. Each capsule is not fully sealed, with the end covered by a simple drop down curtain, so you can imagine that you would still be able to hear your neighbour's night time pastimes. Just a warning!

This hotel is very clearly built for Japanese tourists, not Western tourists. That being said, it can be quite the cultural experience for you if that's what you want. Eastern toilets, you have to take off your shoes, and the only baths are public - and of course, it has a pachinko parlor. A major detractor is the lack of outlets. And the internet is terrible. I will mention again - lack of outlets! Free porn on the TVs though.

What can you say, a capsule is an experience you have to try. I stayed here one night, its right in the heart of osaka near all the bars and restaurants. Cheap and cheerful, there is no showers but a large enough shared onsen on the bottom floor. Good place to stay if you are in osaka for the weekend and want to hit the bars.

the staff could be a little more clear with instructions in english. Maybe english signs in the front of the hotel? Maybe better directions from the train stations
