the staff picked us up and dropped us off at the bus stations for free. The free breakfast every morning was varied and tasty...bread, butter, jam, coffee, tea always plus either eggs, gaucamole and chips, grill chesee, etc. They have computers and interent but run it like an internet cafe so its 1 sole / hour. The only downside is they don´t honor the Hostelworld 10% deposit, so if you book on Hostelworld you are actually paying an extra 10% per night.

The breakfast was good, every day they had something different in addition to just bread and jam. The girl on the reception was no help for anything but to take your money for the internet. The toilets always ran out of paper - every day I had to ask for more. The left luggage room isn´t locked or attended. There are no lockers - they could do with putting lockers in the rooms. The pick up and drop off at the bus station was excellent- call from bus station on public phone 0.20soles.

The hostel itself is OK, clean and with a kitchen, however, it definitely doesnt feel like being at someone´s home. The family running it is very focused on making money, you are not for example supposed to go on a trek with another agency or you risk having to justify yourself to the owner, you have to pay for everything in advance, etc. I cant say I felt welcome there. But the showers are hot and the breakfast is OK, which is a plus.
