The best hostel we´ve ever stayed in. Has everything you could wish from a hostel: excellent breakfast, nice kitchen, hot showers, tv and big dvd selection, book exchange, very nice and helpful staff! and it was cheap! recommended to everyone

Cocqui and Rex were extremely helpful. The rooms were the cleanest of all the hostels we were in while in Peru. Not the greatest location, but it\'s not too far a walk from Plaza de Armas. This was our favorite hostel during our month in Peru!!!

Sra. Rojas and her family take very good care of people. They run a friendly lodge, steer you to the best places to eat, and give great advice on the local sights. Try to take their own tour to the Lagunas, rather than the local tour. My thanks to Teo and Rex for getting me to the bus station at the last minute.

Good hostel. Double rooms in the annex building were large and very clean with reliable hot water showers. Free breakfast not huge, but adequate and the terrace has excellent views. Staff very helpful, free lift to the bus station without even asking, good info on trekking etc.

The staff picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station. They were very nice! I have heard that if booking with cruz del sur, make sure to call to get picked up, otherwise taxi drivers may lie about the condition or location of caroline house. I have heard from others that the trekking provided by the hostel is wonderful and they are full of advice! i would definitely come back!
