It is rare when travelling to find such a gem of a hostel. Run by a family, they are the most welcoming hosts and will endeavour to make your stay in Bogota as comfortable as possible. A highlight is a freshly cooked baveuse omelette with a croissant and hot chocolate in the morning included in the price. The guy is pretty nifty at chess if you ask him for a game.

Had an absolutely lovely stay. Great breakfast!!! Especially with hot coco late :D see you soon!
its in the heart of Bogota's tourstic area. As it is called 'casa', this is a family owned hostel. Breakfast is nice too.
This is a beautiful hostel right in the heart of La Candelaria. It is absolutely safe and the family-owners know exactly who should be there; breakfast is included and the hostel is kept impeccably clean. Lots of maps, coffee and tea all day, computers and wifi, movies and pay TV. Ask for recommendations for restaurant, bars, amenities around the city. The lounge areas reach critical mass quickly so it is easy to be social and of course fellow travellers have a lot to offer.
Wonderful staff, comfortable beds, great breakfast, good location in the center or town, and comfortable common areas. All the good stuff a backpacker could ask for!
Great hostel in a great location, staff were friendly and the breakfast was nice. Good hot showers and a nice little kitchen. Not a party hostel but still had a great vibe.
This hostel was cute. It is in a great neighborhood close to all of the tours in La Candelaria. I left my wallet on the couch overnight and the staff kept it safe for me and nothing was missing. They were also concerned with my safety when I came home at night asking if I am ok and if I need anything. They don't speak much English, although one man does speak pretty good English, but they are very sweet.
What a great place to stay! Super friendly family runs it. Really clean.
Nice and helpful. The main guy spoke pretty good English and was a great help. Everyone else I interacted with was friendly.
The house is wonderful with all these colored windows and the hammock in the living room. You don't feel like in a hostel but as if you would visit family.
I loved this hostel. Lovely staff and cooked breakfast each morning. Facilities are generally quite poor. Only one bathroom for those in dorms but it works ok. Despite that though it is one of the loveliest places I've stayed and it made my stay in bogota really great
We arrived at 4am and the owner was very accomodating and friendly. Breakfast was so tasty, staff were very friendly and helpful with directions/advce. The hostel is located very close to the Botero Museum and within walking distance to the Museo de Oro, supermarkets, restaurants and Transmilenio line. One of the best hostels we have stayed in during our trip.
The location of the hostel is perfect for exploring Bogota. The beds are comfortable and the 10 bed dorm did not feel crowded. Hot water in showers. Lovely breakfast. Staff are friendly. Only negative was that there was never any toilet paper and always had to ask for some!
Good location, nice breakfast, clean rooms and kitchen, reasonable price. The only downside is the WIFI is not very stable.
Great hostal. Stayed there twice. Staff is friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was good. Nice communal areas. Location couldn't be better!

Had a wonderful time staying here! The early morning breakfasts were fantastic and staff friendly and always willing to help out. Even if it was as simple as booking a tour or a taxi. It's location is in the old town where there's lots of atmosphere and culture. Beds were made ready for arrival and were then remade for the next day. For those with limited to no Spanish, you may need to have google translator ready as only the El hombre and El Niño speak Español. Wonderful family run business!
Great location, clean kitchen, lots of DVDs to watch and comfy couches.
Amazing place with amazing owners and staff. Great to chill and relax during your travels.
Definitely one of the greatest Hostels ive been at so far, and a place with real 'soul'. The family that runs the Hostel is incredibly friendly, bed sheets get changed every day, the wifi is great and the location could not be better, right in the historical center candelaria. Sad we have to leave again!!
Nice place. They love foreign people. Very quiet, just for rest. Not a party hostel.
