The staff are lovely and very helpful. The room we stayed in at the front was a bit noisy due to things going on in the square outside. Other than that I can't fault it.

I loved it here, incredibly friendly staff in this family run hostel and felt very secure. Great area of the city to visit and relaxed environment that was nice for meeting fellow travellers. An older building, but very clean and comfortable

We booked one night in transit and because we had issues at the airport we could not leave. Internet connection was almost non existent and could not contact the hostel. Received a letter saying they would charge us anyway. I replied explaining our situation but no response. Had to choose ratings so choose average for all because we did not stay there.

Great hostal in the heart of the city. Family run. Very friendly. Good breakfast. Look no further and book this place. Great brewery pub 2 blocks away. Bogotá beer company. Happy hour 5-7. Became the local.

We had a great experience here. Staff were extremely kind and gracious. We immediately felt at home. Beds were comfy. With lots of warm blankets for the chilly nights. In the mornings they cooked us a delicious home made breakfast. To top it all off they have an adorable dog named Maja who would flop down in front of you and let you pet her. I would 100% stay here again and recommend others to do the same.

We expected this hostel to be great because it had good reviews. However over the two nights that we stayed there it did not live up to expectations. We were in a room which was extremely cold and damp. This was made worse by the cold showers. It was right next to the street in a busy area that continued to be loud throughout the night. After two nights of freezing without any sleep we switched to a better hostel in a quieter area.

Honestly, this is a perfect hostel. When I came into Bogota it was 4 in the morning and the taxi driver was trying to charge me 50,000 COP for the ride, which the hostel owner, who I woke up at that time mind you, was having no part of and said he would call the police if he found them trying to rip off his customers. He got the price down to something reasonable. The rest of the stay was like that, with the owner looking out for everyone in there. It was clean, nice, great breakfast, stay here.

Great hostel in a great area of Bogota. Owners live below and the hostel has a family feel but there's always enough guests consistently there to ensure a good party. The fresh breakfast was delicious, the common area with hammock was very nice, there were good lockers, and the shower was decent. Best of all were the free tours that the hostel connects you with, definitely recommend the walking graffiti tour!

Amazing hostel with lovely and helpful staff, would highly recommend staying here. Nice places to sit and chill with a few beers and there's lots to do in the area. Didn't have any issues with security near the hostel, seemed pretty safe, few cool bars and places to go out at night nearby. Loved it!

The staff were extremely helpful, the hostel is in a good location for Monserrate mountain. They are a family run hostel and very friendly only downfall was the noise the Walls and ceilings are paper thin try stay in an upstairs dorm cause we heard noise all night downstairs from the ceiling to people coming in and out ... I would still recommend this hostel

casa bellavista was a clean, pleasant place with kind staff. it was in the old town ( la candelaria), close to major tourist destinations. The only downside was shower. Sometimes ppl just got cold water and i heard other people complain about that. But generally it was a very nice hostel!

Regular hostel. Nothing too special really, but nothing particularly bad either. Ways to improve: hangers in the bathrooms and in the rooms for towels/ clothes. Bed lights. Little renovation work in the bathroom upstairs...

Hostel is home from home. Was being cleaned many times of the day. it was difficult to see it any dirty . Very Friendly staffy. Hostel is walikng distance to Monserrate and many museums, like Mesuo del Oro (Gold Museum)

It is very noisy, as if the walls and floors are made out of paper.

Lovely hostel. Great friendly atmosphere. Staff friendly with local knowledge and willing to help. Nice breakfast of fruit and eggs (not just toast and cereal). Definitely a good place to stay!

Really lovely hostel with a homey feel. Breakfast was good and made fresh! The location of the hostel was great; very easy to walk to all the major attractions in the old town. Wifi was really good. This hostel was so lovely. When we had to leave it was raining and while we were waiting for a cab they gave us umbrellas and walked us to the main street to help us find one. Would recommend this place.
