The best thing about Casa Bellavista was easily the people, Luis and team were really friendly and I enjoyed the Spanish practice. The hostel itself feels like you are staying in someone{s home which is nice. The location is easy walking distance to everything but seemed to be a little hard for taxi drivers to find at night.

Located in the historical part of Bogota, this hostel was very well located, staff seemed disinterested and they didn't even have a city map, they only gave us a small business card.

So clean. All Facilities SO new. The people that work there are so nice and helpful. I left my ring there after leaving, and they are mailing it to me and respond to email so quickly. They set up a trip to zipaquira for us. They always organize hostel events. AND it's located right next to Chorro del Quevedo which on Fri and Sat night is RIDICULOUS.

due to its proximity to Plaza del Chorro de Quevedo, some rooms could be very noisy,

There was a mixup and I was nearly kicked out a day early, apparently my reservation was lost and the staff thought I had overstayed past checkin. It was quickly resolved, but as it was New Year's day and I was tired, getting woken up and thrown out wasn't the best thing to wake up to.
