Casa Gracia is a beautiful hostel! It's located in a superb location - right among many examples of Gaudi's "modernista" architecture. And, it's very quaint in its decor (charming old chairs, trunks, and other such pieces). My only complaints would be a lack of washrooms (only one, generally, on each floor), and there was a weird smell in the hallways (maybe due to some cleaning product?) Anyway, I had a nice time overall, and I would happily recommend the place to others!

The washroom was dirty. The bedroom floors have these strong lemon/bleach odor making it smells like they are hiding a body. They are renovating right now and they didn't inform their guest prior to booking: the hostel smells like wood dust and loud renovation noise. Kitchen and common area is modern and breakfast is good - maybe after they upgrade the facilities it will be better. It says they are a new hostel from 2010, but the rooms and beds are so old school it looks very dated.

Beautiful hostel with a great vibe. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Excellent value for what we paid. I wouldn't hesitate to return here. The wifi was not that reliable but at the end of the stay it seemed a small frustration compared to the great experience we had at Casa Gracia.

Hostel was very cute, clean, safe and had good staff taking care of the establishment. One of my goals was to use the elevator before I left, but I was too impatient to wait for it. :) Taking the stairs is always healthier anyway. The community kitchen is very clean, organized and pretty. Love the tiles. My husband and I got a private room, and we believe it was newly renovated because everything was so spotless clean. The community area where we eat breakfast is a cool area to meet ot

This hostel has the look and feel of a really nice hotel. I was upgraded to a 3-bedded room, sharing it with really nice people. My only concern, there were no lockers in the room. That left the floor in a slight mess with our bags/luggages as the cupboard in the room was a little too small for 3. Bathroom was awesome. I felt like I was in a 4-star hotel honestly. The tiles, the lights, the shower. Everything was great. Just hope that the wifi works better in the room.

No lockers, but you could buy a lock and use the drawers they have under the bunks. Also, the free breakfast was quite good! The interior, itself, is very well decorated and the common area is really cute. Also, good, free WiFi. Bathrooms were clean, but there seemed to be a problem in our bathroom and the common one in the hall. One two occasions, ran out of paper - so might be a good idea to have some extras!!

HIGHLY recommend this place! A literal 10 minute walk down to La Ramblas, easy to find, easy to navigate the whole town. The bed were clean and the showers were clean as well. The staff was absolutely amazing, so helpful and friendly. They even sit you down and show you local places and how to get there. They have nightly events like cocktail nights and the breakfast is such a good spread and delicious and included! Will definitely stay here next time I'm in Barcelona!!

I would really recommend this adresse without any doubt. Hepfull and patient receptionists, beautiful, restored and well decorated building, relaxed atmosphere, large an clean kitchen, hot drinks for free, everything was perfect. Just a little problem : my room was freezing, especially my bed which was located near the window.

Very good hostel, I liked. The staff is very friendly and they will help us with our doubts. In addition, the Inn seems to attract more sympathetic people. the room and the bathrooms are clean, it is personally very important comfortable. The location is excellent, the neighbourhood of gracia is close to everything.

The hostel was spacious, had excellent amenities (e.g. free towels, wi-fi, gourmet kitchen), friendly staff and plenty of social activities in the evenings. The continental breakfast was an unexpected and most welcome bonus - it ensured everyone left the hostel each morning well-fed, watered and happy. An unbeatable location! Two things for improvement: it would have been nice to have a common area to use after midnight, and tables/chairs in bedrooms.

I had a fantastic stay! The hostel is located in the city centre, in beautiful historical building with high ceilings. If you are looking for a modern hostel but don't feel comfortable in the super modern "chain" hostels, you will love this place. Fast free wi-fi both in the lounge and in the rooms, big fully equipped kitchen, great free breakfast, many organized events for guests.. plus the staff is always smiling and willing to help you. I would definitely stay there again.

On the third floor, the bathroom was in bad condition - it looked like some building work was underway. But it was fully functional and fairly clean, so it did not effect the overall experience. If it did cause problems, it was easy to wash in a bathroom on a different floor.

Possibly the nicest hotel I've stopped in. Great location for getting around the city.We had a private 5 bed dorm with ensuite bathroom, that was great. Bed seemed to be new and very comfy, room was clean. Bathroom was as good a quality if not better than some hotels I've stopped in. Cocktail evenings on each night we were there that were very good value and made the rest of the night a bit of a blur. Fairl standard breakfast in the morning of bread/cheese/ham/cereal.

The Hostel was great and the staff are really friendly however check in at the front desk is slow, as was getting our bags from the storage room afterwards. They were also conducting interviews for new staff in the public common area that was full with guests and it was felt uncomfortable. I also wondered was it usual to have 10 interns in one establishment at one time? They were great, really helpful and super friendly, however the hostel could do with more permanent staff members present.
