We stayed for 3 nights and absolutely loved it; we wish we'd stayed longer! The owner, Rene, is great - very helpful, welcoming and friendly. Our room was lovely - we basically had a small apartment to ourselves! The kitchen is very nice with everything necessary, plus there are lots of great places to go out for food in town. The breakfasts are amazing with places set up for each of the guests & eggs made to order! Excellent location - 5mins walk from centre. We would definitely return!
Rene (the host) is wonderful! We thoroughlly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.
We had a very good time at this B&B. The rooms are clean, the shower is nice. The Belguim owner is more than willing to help you with everyting you need. Breakfast is oke with fresh fruits, yoghurt, bread en yam. Only downside is the wifi. The connection often fails and it is very slow. The owner said it is the way wifi is in Bolivia but in other hostels the wifi did work at a reasonnable speed.
A very nice hostel in Sucre. Lived up to expectations. Rooms nice and large, breakfast was good. Owner was friendly and helpful. wifi was good. Minor issue with water not draining out of bathroom very well. Maybe a small mop or wiper so guests can get rid of water or fix the floor so it drains properly.
Pros: great location close to many sights, excellent Wi-Fi, big kitchen with lots of kitchen utensils, delicious breakfast - the best we have had so far South America! Cons: our shower was terribly small & dark & flooded the bathroom floor every time we used it, the bathroom didn't seem very clean, when we checked in the staff weren't overly friendly & didn't bother to show us any locations on the map or explain any details about breakfast, wifi etc. Overall nice hostel, with a few minor issues
Rene, the owner, is lovely. He is attentive and caring, and he works very hard to ensure your stay is excellent. The breakfasts are, indeed, wonderful, and made hot and fresh when you sit down at the table. Our room was clean, the showers were hot, the place was quiet, and it's just a few blocks walk to the main square. The place felt secure, the wifi never failed us, and I would definitely stay again.
