This accommodation is paradise...easily the best place we stayed in Bolivia and amazing value for money. The owner is very relaxed with very helpful tips. Accommodation is immaculate with gorgeous courtyard for socialising. Breakfast is great. Can't recommend this place highly enough!!
the best breakfast in sucre!!! The hostel is so clean and there is hot water everytime!
This is the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in. The rooms and common areas are beautiful, and nice hot showers too. Rene, the owner, is an absolute star - he will do anything for you, and give you great tourist information. The breakfast is smashing too. Cannot recommend this place enough. It's not the cheapest, but it's worth the extra money - every penny. Great location too - just 5 mins walk from the main square.
Probably the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are beautiful, the beds comfortable, nice hot showers, great breakfast, and amazing staff. Rene is a legend. It's more pricey than others, but worth every penny. Great location too - just a couple of minutes walk from the main square.
Casa Verde was like a sanctuary for us. I was really unwell in Sucre, but our comfortable room with its beautiful handmade furniture and clean bathroom made it very bearable. Rene is an excellent host and a mine of information. AND it was the first time we'd been offered eggs and bacon after 10 weeks in South America. I would recommend Casa Verde to anyone wishing to be central in this lovely city.

Excellent place to stay, spacious rooms. The best breakfast in SA. Great host
We have now been traveling for almost three months and Casa Verde has still been our favourite hostel! It is centrally located, a few minutes walk from restaurants and activities, it is clean and well maintained with a spotless kitchen that is well appointed, and the staff are fantastic. It is more like a B&B than a hostel, but still has a sociable atmosphere with possibility of meeting fellow travellers. You must stay here!
This is as good as everyone says. Owner Rene couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. Fantastic breakfast, great kitchen to cook for yourself, everywhere spotless. Best hostel we've stayed at in South America.
This is so far probably the best hostel we've stayed at in our 3 month trip. Rene, the owner is excellent with hospitality and assistance with tour. His helping staffs are excellent and breakfast was the best. Laundry service is also available at a very reasonable price. The location of the hostel is very good and the place is very quiet.
The hostel is in a great part of town, close to the central plaza. Everything about it surprises you positively. Wifi works well. The owner Rene is extremely welcoming and a great host. Breakfeast is way above the normal standard. Absolutely worth the modest price. Would recommend it to anyone who wants a calm and comftorable place to stay. The best value/cost ratio so far after over three months of traveling.
We stayed in the superior doublebed room, which was very nice and comfortable! The Breakfast is awesome! Bread, Fruits, Eg, Cereals, Yoghurt etc. 'til know the best Hostel we have stayed in Southamerica for this price. It's very near to the main plaza and the Hostel atmosphere is very quiet and cozy.
A very comfortable stay. Rooms are excellent! Breakfast is wonderful...fresh OJ, fruit, bacon and eggs, and toast, tea and coffee! Staff were very friendly and approachable, and very helpful! Would have stayed longer if we could have. highly recommended!
One of the best place were we have stayed in south america. We felt like at home. René is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is complete and very good. Swimming pool is a big plus
Many thanks to René Who makes all the caracter of this not to miss place ni Sucre. René is always present to help With a big smile. We Will send as much as possible friends Andreani customers to the Casa verde because places like this one must go on... Kind regards Bernard Andreani
Rene, the B&B owner was gracious enough to greet us (cheerfully) when we rolled into town at 4:40am (!). From that point on, we were constantly led to feel welcome and in good hands. We were given great and sound advice on the local sights/places to go out, we were able to make an affordable custom built tour for a day in the countryside, and Rene even pulled some imaginary strings and was able to get at safe & clean accomodation as well as seats and transportation to Oruro during the Carnival
Great Breakfast!! The owner is a really pleasant pearson.
My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Casa Verde. The room is cosy & hot shower has good water pressure! It's quiet at night and the common room is gem where you can make hot drinks, relax & exchange stories & tips with fellow travellors. The best thing about casa verde was the owner Rene, he is tireless in helping us to orientate the town & give valuable suggestions for travelling in and out of Sucre, we had to leave super early from hotel and he woke up to make us breakfast!
