This is the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in. The rooms and common areas are beautiful, and nice hot showers too. Rene, the owner, is an absolute star - he will do anything for you, and give you great tourist information. The breakfast is smashing too. Cannot recommend this place enough. It's not the cheapest, but it's worth the extra money - every penny. Great location too - just 5 mins walk from the main square.

This is as good as everyone says. Owner Rene couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. Fantastic breakfast, great kitchen to cook for yourself, everywhere spotless. Best hostel we've stayed at in South America.

This is so far probably the best hostel we've stayed at in our 3 month trip. Rene, the owner is excellent with hospitality and assistance with tour. His helping staffs are excellent and breakfast was the best. Laundry service is also available at a very reasonable price. The location of the hostel is very good and the place is very quiet.

The hostel is in a great part of town, close to the central plaza. Everything about it surprises you positively. Wifi works well. The owner Rene is extremely welcoming and a great host. Breakfeast is way above the normal standard. Absolutely worth the modest price. Would recommend it to anyone who wants a calm and comftorable place to stay. The best value/cost ratio so far after over three months of traveling.

Rene, the B&B owner was gracious enough to greet us (cheerfully) when we rolled into town at 4:40am (!). From that point on, we were constantly led to feel welcome and in good hands. We were given great and sound advice on the local sights/places to go out, we were able to make an affordable custom built tour for a day in the countryside, and Rene even pulled some imaginary strings and was able to get at safe & clean accomodation as well as seats and transportation to Oruro during the Carnival

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Casa Verde. The room is cosy & hot shower has good water pressure! It's quiet at night and the common room is gem where you can make hot drinks, relax & exchange stories & tips with fellow travellors. The best thing about casa verde was the owner Rene, he is tireless in helping us to orientate the town & give valuable suggestions for travelling in and out of Sucre, we had to leave super early from hotel and he woke up to make us breakfast!

I stayed here for six nights and had a very comfortable time. I love the dining room and the nice breakfast. The staff were always prepared for guests to arrive in the morning. Sometimes you can hear people walking around and doors banging. This didn't bother me, but it might some people. I loved the location - it was several blocks from the chaos of the plaza area, but still within easy walking distance of all the activity. I will stay here again during my multi-week visit in Sucre.

Perfect hostel. 28 US dollars a night for double room with private bath, breakfast of fresh squuezed orange juice, strawberries, bread, youghurt and eggs how you like them, FRESH GROUND COFFEE!!! Also a small swimming pool, a friendly owner, DVD collection, huge clean kitchen, perfect location (THOUGH USE ADDRESS NOT HOSTELWORLD LOCATION). 8 rooms, not a party hostel, felt very secure. I dont know what else you could want from a hostel!
