Summary of traveller reviews

CheapSleep Helsinki offers a clean and secure stay with friendly, helpful staff. While the location is a bit out of the centre, it's well-connected by public transport. Some guests note the kitchen can be small and the bathrooms could be cleaner, but overall it's a good value option.

Half youth hostel, half retirement home. Great staff and it's very clean; the location is just ok, it's. a little far from the centre. The big problem is that they have a bunch of old men lurking around (60+), who seemingly live there. Great potential, but it really needs an age limit. Great facilities, weird vibe.

I don’t think they clean, especially the bathroom. Was there for 3 nights and the same toothpaste scum and splatter graced the sinks the entire time. The larger toilets upstairs had pee on the seats and floor for days and most of the toilets had no toilet paper my entire stay. There’s one level of security, your dorm door and everyone left it open so people could walk from the street to your bed quite easily.

Overall very good, nice common area and bar, and easy enough to get into the city centre. Only criticism is very small toilet cubicles. Showers were good.
