This place was quite good and good value. Dorm rooms are quite crowded but beds are good. There are less lockers than beds (big no no). Bathrooms weren't great but they sufficed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Cheap laundry service as well.

Staff is friendly and helpful. The free dinner is great! Our bedroom doesn't have enough space and had to use the lockers in another room, a little bit not convenient.

Awesome place! I had a great time here although I was in Santiago a full week for "work" It was really cool to come back, after a long day @ the office/lab, & chill with the friendly people from the front desk & other guests which were always dinning and having fun together. Great place to meet other travelers to share travelling tips and plans. The free breakfast & dinners were amazing & included in the low price! Very clean bathrooms & very quite rooms. Location was great too. 100% RECOMMENDED

The atmosphere of the hostel could be better; the furniture is a bit old and stuff like that... Cleanliness could also be improved. The free dinner from monday to thusday is a really cool thing and was really nice. Most of the staff is really nice and the hostel is good located, very close to the metro and a supermarket.

Very nice place to stay, even best if you are interested in parties. If not, Sergio can understand well what you want to enjoy and gives you the best choices. Go ahead!

Dinner is really there. Not plenty, but free, even with a small glass of wine! Quite street close to a big metro station.

One of the best hostel I have stayed in !! Free diner was goog, so was the breakfast and the hostel is located just few meters away from a metro station. The staff was also great, they gave us some good advices about what to do and what to see in Santiago and were able to speak Spanish, English and French. I would definitely recommend this hostel

breakfast is a joke, two meager slices of bread is not breakfast "free supper" is not enough to feed everyone who shows up, so you get nothing unless you hit someone over the head. the bathroom was so small we couldn't use the toilet. everybody who worked at the hostel also stayed there, and had absolutely no idea about the city. avoid!!

Owner Comment (Show)
I'm sorry that you didn't have an enjoyable experience in our hostel. Honestly, for us, your comment sounds like you're describing a different hostel. For other people who read this comment, I ask that you please read the other reviews we've received to get an accurate portrayal of our hostel. Only to clarify: Our breakfast consists of cereal, milk, tea and coffee, bread, cheese, and natural orange juice. Our free dinners are the following: Pasta with Bolognese sauce + Pisco Sour (Monday); Hamburger with Rice and Salad (Tuesday); Pasta with Fresh, Homemade Pesto + Glass of Chilean wine (Wednesday); Vegetable Tortilla or Quiche with Rice and Salad (Thursday). All the dinners are served in normal portions. And you also don't need to "hit someone over the head" to receive your free dinner, but just need to wait to be served after the people who arrived before you, or be in the dining area at the appropriate time when the dinner is served. On Friday night, we have a BBQ, which costs $6.000 CLP and includes open bar (wine and beer) for 2 hours; all you can eat salad, pasta and rice; and grilled beefsteak and sausage.

really nice hostal. You really get worth what you are paying for. Excellent staff, good activities and perfect place. A hostal i would definitely recommend. For this kind of money you get more than you could ask for, definitely worth it, and will be going back here.

At the hostel the atmospere is very good, this is in part because they offer dinner for free with a glass of wine. So many people come to eat there and you can socialize. Other than this the hostel if fine, average.

The hostel was beautiful and the free dinners, as well as being delicious, brought everyone together for a really cool family/community vibe with the other guests. The bathroom could have used a bit more privacy, but otherwise it was perfect.
