The staff was very friendly and the rooms were basic, but plenty nice and of a decent size with great water preassure in the bathrooms. The buffet breakfast for only 60Kr was excellent. Great location, free internet, well worth the money. Overall, I would have no problem staying here again or recommending it to a friend.

The location is amazing, everything is in walking distance. I will say that taxis have no idea where it is located, so have them drop you at the central station, it is a 3 minute walk from there. Everything was really clean, they made my friend and I switch rooms for 2 nights and were a little rude about that, other then that great hostel to stay at.The location is amazing, everything is in walking distance. Very nice that the City Lodge Hostel is NOT a place to have fun, so you can have a good night sleep. (So actually I could have chosen "Exellent" there, but people who read review can get the wrong interpretation.Very nice that the City Lodge Hostel is NOT a place to have fun, so you can have a good night sleep. I haven't been very lucky the first day because the 4 girls who shared my room were up and loud until late opening, closing and reopening their bags trying to distribute the weight between their luggage. Luckily the next day my roommates were much more respectful. Apart from that, the rooms are small, but still nice and clean. The staff is discreet and respectful and the location just perfect.
