The staff was reeeeally nice, so cool! Also location very good close to Åhlens. guest kitchen nice and clean with plates etc. Not sure about pots.. Only the exit light was really strong in our dorm so it was hard to sleep. Madress etc nice. For locker u should have own lock. In the common area the music was really loud and not that good.. For the shower there was no dressing room and if u would come out u would end up in kitchen with a camera.. Anyhow the atmospere was nice and price low!

Nice and clean although a little bit boring and drab. Service and facilities were good, although, like everything in Sweden, the hostel is quite expensive.

It was alright but it was a little annoying that I had to pay for my own sheets

The whole atmosphere within the hostel wasn't good at all. I didn't really felt like very welcome or home. Would say the hostel needs to make the place more confi.

I had a youth travel sheet and this meant I didn't have to buy sheets - which were quite expensive. I thought the staff were very friendly.

At times it was very noisy and thus difficult to get any sleep.

Would highly recommend this hostel. Great central location, friendly staff, great showers, very clean and nice social area where I was able to meet other travellers.

Free wifi in the rooms. We stayed in the large dorm with 18+ beds. It was surprisingly quiet, and the location cannot be beat. It's just off the main shopping road that leads to pretty much all the sights in Stockholm. The breakfast was good-- it's cheaper if you commit to it the night before so I recommend doing that. The beds had curtains on them, which blocked out all light and made for a strange, but pleasant atmosphere. Bring sheets and towels if you can!

Good place for a cheap overnight stay. Nothing too fantastic, but we did appreciate the personal lockers, luggage storage area, and free pasta though!

The room was very cold. Bunk beds are old, therefore very noisy. Location is great. Cooking facilities are very limited and Wi-Fi only works well in the common area. The hostel overall is ok if you plan to be outside and only sleep there. Do not expect a great hostel atmosphere. It's more like an in and out hostel.

I really enjoyed my stay at City Hostel, everyone was very friendly and helpful, it was fun to hang out in the lounge and chat to the other guests. There are a number of long-stay guests here and they are very nice and welcoming people. I stayed in a 4bed dorm, which had enough space and a large wash basin. The only thing I didn't like was the mattress on the beds, they are very thin and the beds are a wire base so not the most comfortable.

Really good location close to the main station. I missed windows and floor reconstruction during the time of our stay was disturbing a bit. However, I can say I like those days spent in the hostel.

Very nice hostel, but some of the guests can be a little bit dodgy. This is not entirely the fault of the hostel staff, to be fair.

Great location just a few hundred meters from the railway station. Staff: friendly, helpful. Rooms weren't huge but at least big enough, located in the basement >> no noice from the streets. Overall a good, cheat alternative at the best location you can ask for.
