I loved the hostel! The girls room had everything I needed!! A clean bathroom a big mirror hair dryer! The beds were comfy and each bed had its own light and plug made things easy! My stay was fast but I loved their project Flower Power Alternative trips I wish I had time to go on a trip and get to see more of the Brazilian nature life! Thank you CityLights team for all your help and tips to do around the city!

CityLights is amazing! Really good vibes here with a chill atmosphere and perfect location. It has a great patio area downstairs with a huge kitchen and a bar. The staff are all super friendly, and you get free breakfast everyday. The hostel is small enough so that it doesn't feel crowded or impersonal, but there are enough people around for it not to feel empty either. After having traveled to 20+ countries and staying at countless hostels, I can easily say this is one of my favorites!

The best thing is the location. Very close to Vila Madalena, and pretty quite area. Is clean in general, and the staff is friendly. The only thing I would ask to improve is, the place needs more restrooms and clean it more often.

This is a hostel for smokers only. They allow smoking in the common are and the smell seeps up into the private rooms so badly that my pillow still carried the smell the next day. Also the common area s connected to the kitchen, so it's hard to enjoy a smoke filled supper.

I was a very nice staying and I'd definitely recommend. The atmosphere is great and staff very friendly. The location isn't good for walking to most of spots and you'll have to take a transportation most of the time. The bed was a little hard and lockers didn't seem to provide enough security. The entrance automatic door was broken and sometimes we needed to wait a while for someone to open it for us.

Very beautyful and relaxed hostel, but lacks the top noch of tours, extra/socialising activities. luggage storage could have been more secured from rain.,

It's a cool place no doubt!Totaly worth to stay, guys that work overthere definetely good and helpful for whatever you ask for!And the place is really "tasty",designed and equiped with style, clean and secure and has a nice inner yard to relax and have a drink. They all speak english there fluently, so no problem with communication for non-portuguese speakers. But what really hits is coolness and relaxed atmosphere of hostel and young crew directing this ship in a good direction!Abracos to CLH! ;-)

Only spent 1 night there. I arrived very early, so there was only the kitchen maid but she was friendly enough. Breakfast is nice. The staff were helpful in showing you what to do and where to go. The place itself is clean.

Great location as it is near to the metro station which connects you to nearly all of Sao Paulo. The owners designed the hostel with an eco-friendly feel and design which is nice. The hostel was very quiet during my stay but it was okay cause I needed some downtime. I would recommend this place if you are looking to get some proper rest and don't want a hectic wild environment.

Nice hostel in a well-located area. Quite stylish and comfortable. The only issue was finding it in the first place, as there's no big sign saying it's a hostel except for the hostel name at the door, which is hidden by the trees in front of it and very easy to miss. Helpful and friendly staff.
