Coroleuhouse was amazing! We had a great time there and it is for sure the best hostel we have stayed at! Even though it is located outside the city centre it is worth the metro trip! The area were the hostel is located is absolutely great and gives you a feeling how real Barcelona people live. It is not touristic and lets you experience a different Barcelona. Since hostel has a great common room it is easy to meet people and make new friends :) And of course Jose Maria is a great host!! :)

The other difficulty this hostel presents is getting in the door. Check your email after you book it and you'll receive a phone number and email (and wi-fi password) to help you contact Jose Maria once you get there. Also, his mother lives next door, so you can ring her. This place is awesome! Excellent house, perfectly clean, very helpful and welcoming host (he is as much host as owner). He even printed my boarding pass. It's easily accessible by metro and feels very much like a home.

Coroleuhouse is located in a lovely nabourhood! also it has all the facilities you could just imagine. you can even wash your clouth for free. It has helpful staff. What i realy enjoyed is also how beautyfull the house is decorated, giving it some mediterranean-feeling. It´s a perfect mix of a peacful atmosphere and in the same time you will defenitly get to know the other guests!

The best hostel I`ve ever stayed! Great place to relax after daylong sightseeing and walking. Cosy, not crowded and very clean - that`s important! The atmosphere is like at international students house, not like in typical hostel. The owner is friendly and helpful person.

Great place. It was like a home away from home

This place is great value, you will not find better or cheaper. Feels super homely as it is actually a house in a quiet inner suburban neighbourhood. Easy to get to and easy access to city and sights. No reception desk, just the owner will meet you and show you around so keep in contact. Feels like a share house more than a hostel. Free computer, tv with loads of channels modern kitchen with everything. Plenty of bathrooms, everything is clean and new! This place is amazing!

Do you wanna learn all the right places your have to go while in Barcelona? Jose Maria will tell you EVERYTHING. One of the most friendly people I`ve ever met in my life, he is ready to help you by the moment you arrive in the city. The house itself is far (however, your can walk less than 5 minutes and find a metro that in about 10 minutes will lead you to the heart of the city). But it is nice and clean. I do recommend Coroleuhouse.

Amazing value for money! Located in a really cute residential neighbourhood. If you don't mind travelling to the center (metro is 5 minutes walking and it takes 15 minutes to the center) then this accomodation is awesome. The owner goes out of his way to support you having a great time. You can ask J-M for anything and he will sort it out for you. Its a guesthouse with 4 rooms, brand new, nicely furnished, spotlessly clean and has all the facilities you would need. Cozy, relaxed, feels like home

a bit noisy due to the poor soundproofing wall, but beside that, everything else is great!

Very nice place, Hostel was very homey. little bit far from centrum, but near by metrostation, so it doesn´t matter. We enjoyed our time in Coroleuhouse.

Fantastic host and awesome hostel. Great atmosphere and brand new facility. You will never find a better hostel in the world.

This is one of the best hostel that I 've lived!The owner is so enthusiastic and gives us so many valuable suggestions to travel in this city~I love Barcelona!

the owner is very nice, and the house is beautiful. But the wifi there is not so good, and the room is a little small for 4 people.

Our stay at Coruleuhouse Barcelona was excellent. It was our home away from home. Amazing lounge and patio area, which was be fantastic for beers in Summer! The owner was great and made us feel at home the second we got there! Jose takes pride in calling it a 'guest house' not hostel and he has certainly made sure this is the case in astmosphere. Location a little out of centre but metro easy to use! Super clean! Best hostel I've stayed in by far!

Excellent hostel! I would highly reccommend it for everyone´s stay in Barcelona and I will definetly come back here on my next visit! Very clean, direct connection to Barcelona Airport by train, very very friendly and helpful manager. Good value for money, as you don´t have to pay for sheets, towles and any cosmetics that you find in the bathroom, or any food that is in the common area. Very important: high-speed internet for free! It feels and looks more like a home than a hostel.
