Awesome spot in a convenient area of Kaohsiung. Felt right at home and super comfortable the whole time we were there. Would recommend Cozy Planet to anyone!

Great staff, great location. The sexist humor could go (an image over the sink reminding people to clean up after themselves). With all due respect, I think women are subjected to enough hypersexual representation, we are better off making a conscious effort to honour women and not demean them. The staff I met was awesome and overall the place was great.

The location is great and the hostel's accurate directions even better! The hostel is cosy (as the name suggests) as the main area is like you've just entered the owner's living room. Loads of brand new guide books, maps and brochures to reference and computers to use. The fact that they offer free laundry is a real bonus and hassle free. Beds comfy too. Both staff I met were really helpful in offering itinerary advice for my two days in Kaoshiung, booking taxis etc.

A small hostel, but really lovely; I highly recommend it. Excellent central location near the Central Park MRT. Facilities, atmosphere, and staff were all fantastic, and the beds were very comfortable. Bring your own lock for the lockers.

I first discover the hostel life style in Qeenstown, New Zealand where I met young people all over the world as well as not so young retired, on leaved professors, retired military officers. We all got along and had great time. At Cozy Planet, it adds another dimension: personal attention by the hosts, Luis and Sam, their affable, sincere manor really bringing people together. Boy, did I have a great time! They, Luis and Sam seem genuinely enjoying do it. The place is tastefully done.

as the name suggests, this hostel was super cozy and welcoming. Only stayed one night however, I would certainly return in the future. Felt like I was staying in a friends apartment. Very comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Cozy Planet Hostel is a really nice place to stay at in Kaohsiung. As the name says it's "cozy", so if you don't feel like going out (or it's to hot to go out) you can just relax in the living room and drink some free coffee. Cozy Planet Hostel has also amazing staff - friendly, caring, speaking perfect English and ready to help you with planing your trip.

This place was a lifesaver during our trip in Taiwan. They did our laundry and gave us tons of information. The hostel has a great communal area and really good atmosphere. I will be staying whenever I go through Kaohsiung.

What can I say .... Cozy Planet hostel is simply one of the very best hostels I have ever stayed at .... and I have stayed at a lot of hostels! Although the facilities, beds and atmosphere are all excellent, the thing that really sets this hostel above the others is the quality of its staff. Louis and Sam were particularly helpful, Louis even coming with my girlfriend and I to translate for us while we signed a lease for an apartment .... they really went the extra mile to help.

The room was absolutely fantastic with a great view and great location in downtown Kaohsiung. Hostel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. If I return to Kaohsiung in the future, I will definitely stay at Cozy Planet.

Wish i could have stayed longer, it gives me the feeling of a home, very polite and helpful staff, clean toilet. though i was a bit unlucky during my stay as I met an unreasonable roommate who speaks very loudly everyone was deeply asleep during the night and didn't wear a mask when she's sick, the hostel is one of the best I've ever stayed in.
