Best hostel I have stayed at. Great communal area for cooking, friendly staff, very secure, so clean. Almost feels like a hotel with a hostel atmosphere. Location could be closer to old town, but its only 15 minute walk which isn't that bad!

This was an ok hostel. Not the best place for meeting people if you're a young solo traveler, but still not entirely bad. The hours of the reception are not ideal, as a staff member is only there from 0900-1800, but they were very nice in my limited interaction with them. Overall not bad value for money, but if you're looking to meet people in the hostel, there are probably better options in Stockholm.

It would be nice to have a common room besides the kitchen to chat etc. maybe with a collection of books, like a shared library/living room :)

Overall great. Everything was clean, the area was quiet and felt safe. The building and my belongings felt secure. It's a little cramped in common spaces. They make you rent sheets, and you're not allowed to bring a sleeping bag (you can bring your own sheets if you so choose). There are no restaurants, bars, or cafes near the hostel, but there's plenty to do within a short walk, and the whole city is pretty easily navigable anyway. If you want a nice basic place to stay, I'd recommend Crafoord.

Extremely average hostel at best. Not great for meeting people, staff are very friendly but aren't much help when it comes to city information.

Cool hostel, very friendly crowd. The location is good, pretty easy to get around once you find it the first time (they send you a email with directions to help). You will also find on the walls a lot of activities and useful information about Stockholm, that was very appreciated.

The staff at the hostel is nice and very accommodating. I was even given some food by one of the staff members. Due to its small size, the hostel is always very clean. The rental fee for sheets was rather expensive (50 kronor) where as it was typically under 25 at other hostels I stayed at in Sweden. The only common area is the kitchen, making it rather difficult to meet people. A lot of the guests weren't actually backpackers, but actually people living there, which affected the atmosphere.

SEK 50 is definitely min. in Stockholm.... other hostels charge SEK 75 for bedlinen! Most people do meet each other in the kitchen, when we do have the possibility to open another common room people still tells us that the kitchen area is the best meeting point:) We do have four (out of 45) people staying long term that's less than 10% and when you stayed with us we did have 40 other guests...

We were very happy with our stay at Crafoord Place. You have a pretty kitchen, nice sofas and the best extra for us was the parking lot for our car and the friendly atmosphere. :)

Met very nice people in that hostel and the guy at the reception is very helpfull and a very nice person. But the bathrooms are not very Clean and you have to pay extra for Everything Bedseets, Coffe and even if you want to pay in cash.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Amasing :) Please read information Before you book! Bedlinen and cash payment are the Only things you have to pay extra for! Coffe and tea is free!!! We do offer special coffee like cappuccino in a machine at the price of SEK 10 (anywhere else you'd pay the double). I will check the bathrooms, but normally we get comments on how Clean the bathrooms are so I'm not sure if it was a one off thing or if we need to address this. Ingrid
