Nice location although it takes you to the top of the hill from where you can easily visit the place you want to. But the problem is no single bathroom probably because of hilly area and Wi-Fi was so weak. Foods are good here but a bit costly. No towel but clean room. Beds are small but worthy because of living cost. People are friendly .
The hostel is situated in Tiantou village which is about forty minutes climb from the car park at the foothill. There are beautiful view of rice terraces right in front of the hostel and the three scenic spots are only about half an hour to an hour climb from the hostel. The room is very clean and the staff is very pleasant and helpful.
The hostel itself was excellent, but I was very annoyed by the directions. The directions stopped at Dazhai which is a 40 minute walk from the hostel. Since the hostel did not tell us which way to go, we asked the locals who led us in the wrong direction (probably because we don't speak chinese), and were lost for 3 hours. There are many trails that can be taken, and only one leads to the hostel, I cannot believe we were not informed about which one to take.
