The hostel is basic but has all the facilities you need and is good value for money. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and clean. The breakfast was adequate. The kitchen could be better stocked.

The location was not actually in Dingle which was unforunate, but the stay ended up being really nice. The owner of the hostel was very helpful and very friendly. He gave my brother and I a ride to the town in Annascaul to avoid the 20 minute walk and/or rain. The hostel itself was a little old and drafty, but maintained and very spacious. I loved the common room and the stove fireplace; all very cozy. The wifi was available throughout the hostel!!! That was awesome! I would go again.

The Dingle Gate Hostel was our favourite Hostel during our stay in Ireland. The owner, Brian, is amazing. He takes care of the Hostel all by himself and you can see how much love he puts in his Hostel. The location ist just perfect. There are some great pubs in Annascoul with good food. The Inch Beach is just a 5k work from the Hostel und you can take a great path to get there. Also is Dingle not too far away and you can take the Bus or easily hitch hike there. We would defenitly go there again.

It was quite far from the "inhabited world" and the bus traffic wasn't that frequent.

Brian is so kind and we had a wonderful time staying here. It is about a 20 minute walk into town and an hour walk to Inch Beach, but they will transport you if you request it. The room was clean, breakfast is included, wifi access, and excellent service.

The staff was extremely helpful. They offer pick up and drop off to major locations and have put together major walking routes in the area. They also have facilities that make this place ideal for large groups looking to have their own parties.

When we arrived we were greeted by Brian, he gave us our room key and showed us around the lower level. Our room was spotless, plenty of counter space and places to charge our electronics. We woke in the morning to a hen and her chicks going cheep cheep cheep. Game room out back has a pool table, ping pong, and a piano and plenty of seating. I loved that we were able to do some of our own cooking in the kitchen. Only down side is there are no places to walk to
