Downtown Washington Hostel Reviews

Everything was nice. Only one problem was being crowded. But, it was not big deal. I had super nice time in Washington,DC. If I visit there again, my choice is same place! This explains everything.

Good hotel. Location is good if you just want to see the sights but is a bit far off from night-life in Georgetown. Only 2 bathrooms can be tough in the mornings.

I had a memorable stay. Stayed up late sharing experiences with the staff and people from all over the world while playing cards. The next morning, a visiting family brewed coffee for everyone and the staff girl Sharnequa was making pancakes. I was surrounded by open, fun, and friendly people. Groceries and liquor are just a block away, and there is a bike share station across the street.

This was my first hostel stay. I booked you because I had the twenty year olds with me. I wanted them to meet people of different backgrounds and see other possibilities for their own lives as well as the Capitol. I loved the staff, the location, and atmosphere. So did all our party across three generations.

Located in a really lovely safe area of DC, close to Union Station. Its beside supermarkets and restaurants on wide streets. 1st time in a dorm, conditions are simple and there are only 3 bathrooms - which becomes difficult. But they are clean. Wholemeal pancakes in the morning were great! But coffee with free milk and sugar would have helped. I liked that the staff lived there - but it was difficult to tell who was staff at times. Had a great time going out with strangers. Would do it again.

The place is quite tight and small. It is quite within a walkable distance to Union Station where most of the information can be acquired from.

I had a great stay here. It is very nice that the hostel accommodates social interaction between guests by serving breakfast and coffee in the morning. This makes it easier to meet other travelers.

Only 3 restrooms for entire hostel no matter how many guests, so basically, it was always occupied. No locks in the room, which was very unconfortable and insecure for us.

One of the best hostel that I have experienced

The room was a bit small, but everything else seemed to be in order.

Highly recommend it! Its small, but so worth it. They're flexible with a lot. The only downside was that it said there was a 24/7 front desk, but I had gotten in very late - about 2 am and I called because I was at NW and not NE but no one had answered. I unfortunately had to stay at another hostel for the first night, but in the end everything worked out just fine. That being said - if you're delayed or going in late - call ahead!

Everything was great. Staff handled greatly a disruptive guest.

This is a pretty small hostel and it feels almost like home, with pancake breakfast, the no-shoes-in-your-room-rule and the cozy common room. Great staff, convenient location- I really enjoyed my time there and woud stay there again.

I really like this place . The staff are very nice and it's near union station . The problem is hostel have locker but traveller must bring padlock and key by themselve so not good

The staff was very very nice and always offered help - even helped us sew a broken bag.

The staff was great. But there were bed bugs - a LOT of them. My friend and I had about 10 bites each the next morning.

Lockers are small, only 3 bathrooms, but location is amazing!
