small but confortable room, strong wifi, very clean, I like the location in the heart of Mong Kok. Will come back for sure!

The communal bathroom was so small I could barely fit in and close the door (and I'm not a big person). The dorm bathroom had no door, just a shutter that didn't close entirely. I was on the top bunk, and it creaked and swayed until I was half sure the whole thing was going to collapse and kill the dude below me. (No ladder up to the top bunk either.) I wasn't given a key to the room, and when I asked about it, the front desk lady shrugged and walked off. Locker was too small to fit my bag in.

The staff are rudest and most arrogant I have ever come across, ever!. They didn't know who Stanley was (the manager) when we asked for him as he was going to help up with visa's. They only acknowledged who he was when I showed them THEIR business card. They completely ruined our Hong Kong experience. Obviously here the amount of money spent here reflects on the the kindness they show. Stay here if you must.

Great location near mong kok station (Warning!!: card's map from mail when booking was wrong, spent 2 hours finding with it. if you spent more than 3 min, you're surely lost). The security are good, I dropped my laptop openly in my room and it's still there for 3 nights, their WiFi was poor though. Staff is ok, I guess, I met up 3 staff, up to who you met. I stayed at single room with bathroom, small clean room and shower over toilet hard to bath. free storage. Lastly watch for cigarette smell.

This hostel was not bad. I stayed in a single private room - a very small room with a small bed but that's normal by Hong Kongmstandards. The washroom was shared with other people on the floor but I never had to wait. It was very small, with the shower right over the toilet - again, kind of regular by HK standards but I found it impossible to shower and never heard anyone else shower either. The location is convenient right by the metro and I felt safe.

Nice room and friendly staff. Clean room and good location. Run by Chinese and not Indians or Africans. Much better than Chunking mansion.

A decent enough place for the price. Rooms are tiny - as are all in Hong Kong! - but surprisingly well appointed. Right in the heart of Mong Kok and with a subway stop less than 2 minutes walk awasy. Tip: If you are a couple, take a twin room as the double bed we were offered was in effect a large single.

The location is great. Close to a lot of shopping, the MTR station, and lots of other things in Mongkok. Even so, the hostel is relatively quiet. Beds, rooms, and bathrooms were clean and spartan, no frills. Free Internet in the lobby and the staff were all very nice and helpful. It's a bit much for what you get, but hey... this is Hong Kong!

Booked wrong, wanted Dragon Inn (14th floor). Wanted cheap, lost flight back and waited a day to avoid extra fees. Person at the counter was professional when I checked in, the lady that took me to the room, almost walked away with the keys, later I found that the roommates had no keys (?) kinda unsafe having somebody knocking claiming to stay here with no keys. Wifi little weak. You pay for everything "extra" towels, power adapter etc. Book Dragon Inn or Days Hostel (Chunking Mansion) instead.

Very accessible to public transportation. near bus stops to famous places and very near MTR station. The room is fine but the toilet is very small that its hard to move especially when taking a bath. The lady on the front desk doesnt speak English so we have to rely on hand signs. The two other male on the front desk speaks good english though.

Stayed last June for a week and came back during my recent stay; location = easy access to Mong Kok's street snacks and shopping (also stayed at one of the hostels in Causeway Bay, and found Causeway Bay to be a harder location to get good local food); easy subway access; staff is friendly; laundry; small lockers; soft beds; worst part is each 4-bed dorm appears to only have one outlet area in an inconvenient location, but common room also has outlets if you don't mind hanging out there a bit

The hostel is great. It's cheap, but in a good location with a friendly atmosphere. We spent almost two weeks there and enjoyed meeting people from all over the world. It's a bit small, but all of the rooms are like this in Hong Kong.

This hostel was perfect for a 2 night stopover in Hong Kong. Finding the hostel was very difficult, but I did arrive very late in the evening with a flat cellphone battery, so I had difficulty finding a place to check for directions. The directions given are straight forward, though, so I suggest printing out or checking the directions online beforehand! There is someone there 24 hours a day, though, so checking in wasn't a problem. Great for a short stay if you don't mind dorms!

Dragon Hostel is very nice. Very accomodating staff, even the lady who doesn't speak english looked for a way to understand what we needed. The only downside, is the water heater. It takes quite some time for the water to heat up. You'll get a spray of cold water in the middle of a refreshing hot shower. Also, it would be very convenient to the guests if they provided a free towel. But overall rating of the hostel is 4 out of 5 with 5 as the highest. Kudos to Stanley and his staff.
