Room was very clean, but had a musty smell. Hostel seemed to be in a safe environment and was near pretty much near everything. Pretty good for a room as cheap as this one was. It was basic Asian style: very small with no windows, but really clean. I was a little disappointed at the fact that the bus stop was listed a tad incorrectly on the hostelworld website (I happened to get off at the right stop b/c I noticed a subway) and that I was not able to complete my payment using a credit card...

Highly recommended, easy to get to, clean and well maintained. Tiny rooms but you would expect that for Hong Kong. Very happy and will be staying here again. Feels very safe for a solo female traveller. Close to the metro. You'll have to find your way around because the woman at the front desk doesn't speak English. Ask for a map.

Small but that's normal for HK. Rooms are spread out over two floors. Hard to find but once you do, you'll be happy with the location. Clean, cheap, comfy/clean facilities and discounts on tickets for many tourist attractions. Quite pleased with my experience!

The price is decent when compared to what else is available in Hong Kong, but much higher than mainland China. It was a safe enough environment: they offered to lock up luggage in lobby, not sure how it worked since I didn't utilize it but it would be nice if they offered lockers with keys for each resident. There was a small area with a computer but not really anywhere to lounge. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Next to Mong Kok MTR and offered discount tickets to many attractions!!

The room was very dirty, the floor was full of long hair. The street noise was very loud in the room, although the room does not have a window.

This was my first hostel experience. I needed a base of operations in Hong Kong and this hostel provided what I needed. Comfortable bed, hot showers, nice staff, great location, wifi, a place to put my stuff. I would choose this hostel again if I visit Hong Kong again in the future.

Nice place and I understand why it won the prizes it did. The only thing I missed was somewhere to sit, like, some sort of common room.

this is a good place to stay in hongkonk. you need to know what to expect in this city as a backpacker. the rooms a typical small. like really really small. our doublebed room had in total 7 squaremeters. but when you get used to it, it is okay. it was a great location, near the markets, metro and the busstation to the airport.

Rooms were not set up very well for a hostel. Small beds, no power ports, extremely small bathroom/toilet/shower, noisy and smelly (like a foot). The bedsheets, pillows and duvet/blankets felt...old. Not sure if they are washed each day. Towels are not provided, even for rent and room keys were not provided to each guest. Instead you need to go to the main office to be let in. I'm okay with the old building and room size for the price but the general feel was not very good at all.

We were there for 4 days. We found our stay quite pleasant. Location wise: Great and close to Mongkok MTR. The room is pretty small but we have no complaint as that size is a standard and acceptable in HK. Things need to improve: 1) Towel on sale at HKD20. We figured out it is actually a towel that was cut into 2. So please do bring your own towel to avoid disappointment. 2) Water heater sometimes not working. Considering the weather in HK is cold, water heater is a must.

I love my time staying in Dragon Hostel eventhough I only stay there for 1 day, I really enjoy it. The location is right in the heart of the city and really close to the nearest station and bus stop. Their staff also really helpful so dont hesitate asking them about direction or whatever you need!
