Cheap place to stay that is a 5 min walk from the beach. Not a beautiful beach, but good for beginner to intermediate surfing, and not far from double 6 in legian. Echo has a good and easy going surf instructor. However, the staff is less than friendly and charge far too much for taxis and other transportation. Don't book a thing through them unless you don't care about paying up to twice the actual rate. They also tried to refuse accepting credit card - tax evasion. Cheap, clean, but be aware!

great location for surfing on echobeach. quiet. good facilities. clean. pool clean and taken care of. the owner and the other girl at the reception are a great source for your further travels in bali. it feels more like a hotel, but there are still people hanging around the pool area. if you wanna do sunbathing not the right area of kuta, since the beach is more for surfing, no sand.

Canggu was really a good place to stay. My girlfriend and I really loved it ! We went to their surfing lesson and it was good. By the end of the lesson, I was about to stand up ! Tarek / Anthony was very good as teaching us. We also spent a lovely time into the pool. The room was very very causy and the shower super lovely ! We got somehow some bad luck with the motorbike. There was some lack of battery so everytimes I was below a certain speed the engine would stop. Otherwise, no issue :)

Such a great place!! I booked for a dorm, but when I arrived (at 5am, with someone awake and at the desk to check me in right away!) the dorms were full so they put me into one of the normal triple rooms for two nights until space opened in the dorm. Great atmosphere, lovely rooftop terrace, pool area, and wonderful staff . Breakfast not included for the dorms, costs an extra R50,000. I tried the "French style" banana crepe/pancake, which was good! Other options available down at the beach too.

I stayed in 1 of 2 three-bed dorm rooms. The rest is hotel. There is rooftop terrace with an ok view. A nice lap-pool on the ground floor, so-so internet everywhere, and great staff. I ate nothing there. 5 min walk to Echo beach with 5 bar/restaurants, massage, and black sand surfing beach for beginner / intermediates.

Exholand bed and breakfast is a very clean and quiet place. It is not far from echo beach, which is a good beach to Surf. The staff is super nice and helpful. The breakfast is alright but I would recommend to go somewhere else.

Great location in Echo beach but don't be fooled by it saying it's in Kuta - it really isn't! Nice beach and restaurants close by. Nice pool and roof terrace. Breakfast not included if you stay in the dorm but don't pay the 50,000 rupiah as you can get amazing banana and peanut butter pancakes at dion cafe on the beach for half the price!

This place is awesome! We planned to only stay a few night but ended up returning for a few more. The staff is super helpful and accommodating, the rooms were very clean and the breakfast was awesome! Would definitely stay here again, location is perfect being right next to echo beach and a short scooter ride to Kuta and seminyak. Close to enough to head out for the day or dinner or Kuta for the night, but nice and quiet when you want to just relax, two thumbs way up for echo land!

The place is awesome. The beds are comfy and it is very clean. The staff was great. The owners are very friendly and willing to help. The place is located in a very relaxed setting. It is about a 20 minute cab ride to Kuta and a 5 minute walk to the beach. I met good people to hang out with while I was there. The rooftop is a great place to lounge about.

Loved this place! Booked 3 nights and ended up staying for a week. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, exceptionally clean rooms (new towel and water bottle every day), beautiful location just few hundred metres from the beach. They have a very cool rooftop where you can sunbathe, do yoga (they have yoga mats) or just chill out and enjoy the view. The place is about half hour drive from the craziness of Kuta and a total bliss.. I definitely recommend to stay there even if you're not a surfer. :)
