It was the perfect stay. No further comments required. My only complain is that I asked for a wake up call not to wake up everyone with my mobile alarm, but wake up call never came as receptionist was fast asleep.

Overpriced private room...for this price you wouldn't expect your room to be next to the bar. Location and staff with good

57%

The price for private rooms is far higher than the competition, and the rooms are not very nice.

I liked the fact that the hostel is very clean. Further it's very convenient located in the heart of the old city of Cartagena. You can reach most attractions by foot and it's a safe area to walk around.

We had a lot of fun here and met a lot of great people. Although it is a 10 minute walk away from the main party strip Media Luna (which is outside the wall) i really loved the location- and it wasn't too bad getting home at night after going to the parties that were either held at media luna hostel or mamallenas. Included breakfast was good, fresh fruit, cereal and toast mostly. Very lovely staff. Icey cold air conditioning (i was sleeping in my thermal sleeping bag)

If you want a loud party hostel this is for you. We stayed in one of the private rooms in thesis courtyard and it was very loud with people up until past 4am talking loudly until we finally asked them to take it somewhere else, woken up again at 7 by the cleaners. Paint was peeling all through out the room and does not look like it has been kept up for a long time. If you can get a room not in the main courtyard it maybe a bit quiter. Breakfast was ok, the same fruit, toast and cereal everyday.

Bring a sweater as if you don't like air-con or don't feel the Cartagena heat the dorms have an automatic air-con system which can make it cold when trying to sleep!

Very nice hostel, friendly staff. In the old town of Cartagena, and easy to walk to the bars and clubs. Rooms are with AC, necessary in the Cartagena heat ;-)

I didn't actually stay at this hostel but I had friends who did and loved it. I had to first change my reservations and they were great about that, then I missed a flight and they cancelled the reservations without an issue! I'll be going back soon and will he staying here!!!

Large hostel with nice rooms and comfortable beds. The staff are helpful and it's in walking distance to everything in the old town. There is a bar there and they organise pub crawls and other activities so all in all, a good stay!

The only problem was that the aircondition was really to cold. But that's just my personal opinion. Maybee the others liked it so cold in the rooms.

Staff very friendly but one of them wont let us hire a bicycle for cycling in the night without a reason!!! But overall is very nice .

The hostel os very nice. They have a schedule with activated as salsa classes, game night, etc for almost every day/night. The location is nice too, near Restaurants, market and bars. The private tons are in another building but near but at the same street.

Great hostel, good staff, clean, good atmosphere and the perfect place to meet people. Airco in all the rooms although it may get cold at times. Just ask reception to turn it up. Location is great, it's a safe environment. Cartagena is not that big, so you can walk everything. The hostel has all the information you need and the bar is really nice. If you're travelling solo, this would be a great hostel. No party hostel. After 12 stop playing the music, and you can sleep...
