Cartagena's walled city is the pride of Colombia, this is where you will find Viajero Cartagena - Centro Hostel. Located in a unique colonial house in a colorful street full of flowers, balconies and near nature-filled plazas a couple blocks away.

Stay in shared dorms (some are female only) or, if you prefer, in private bedrooms. Start your day like any Colombian would, enjoying a hot cup of coffee with fresh fruit and more. Wander through the city, discover great restaurants in a laid-back town, and keep in mind, our bar opens at four, and our FREE DAILY ACTIVITIES such as salsa and dance lessons, or live music, start shortly after that! * Remember not to confuse the hostel with hotel (also in the center) with the same name. We are Viajero Cartagena - Centro Hostel, and we are located on the street 7 Infants. (Tell the taxi city name to avoid confusion)

IMPORTANT: We have expanded our capacity so that you and more travelers can enjoy Cartagena with us! We have a new house with more rooms just one block away from the main house where all guests, without exception, must check in and check out.

If you reserved the room 'Standard with private bathroom' keep in mind that for any activities and services such as breakfast, restaurant or bar, you'll have to make your way to the main house.

*Taxes: Colombian citizens and foreigners with Colombian residency must pay taxes (IVA): 19%. This tax does not appear on the final rate of the reservation.

*All guests must be 18 years or older.

*Small pets (up to 17 kilograms - 34 lbs) are allowed in private rooms only. A maximum of 2 pets are allowed per room. Your stay has an additional cost of 15 USD. Assistance dogs or guide dogs will always be allowed in any of our outlets and are free of charge as long as the owner presents a certificate confirming that their dog is an Assistance or guide dog. At check-in, a copy of the pet's passport must be presented. *You must review additional policies, at the time of check-in, about the care of your pet during your stay.

*Important information: Remember we don't have hot water in our showers.

*Breakfast is NOT included in the rates. You can purchase it at a special price by contacting us via WhatsApp, or at the reception upon your arrival. Please note that the promotion does not apply after check-in.

*Cancellation policy:
You have up to 48 hours before arrival at the hostel to cancel or modify your reservation in any room category. If you do not report the change before this time or do not show up, we will have to charge the first night of your reservation to the credit card on file.
