The staff at this hostel were brilliant, especially Zack who went out of his way to help everyone! the location is good a 5 minute walk or so from the strip and just round the corner from cheap bike rental places. If i was to stay in Yangshuo again, i'd definately stay here

Really enjoyable stay but an elevator would be a real plus for 5+ floors Very friendly staff, even offered to bring breakfast to top floor but we refused, bringing it ourselves instead :)

I originally booked 3 nights, but only spent one there after seeing the bathroom had a Turkish toilet! That wasn't shown in the pictures (well, I can see why) or stated on the website, so I decided to leave and stay in a more comfortable accomodation. The staff, especially Zack, were very nice and helpful, kudos to them. The hostel overall is ok, free internet, laundry, books etc. but China being cheap as it is, I'd rather spend a little more and stay in a much more comfortable place.

The hostel provided a very cozy stay. The staff is extremely! helpful, which makes exploring Yangshuo really easy n pleasant. Location within a 10 minute walk from the bus station, cheap bike rental round the corner, great view on the mountains, shops and canteens nearby, though the place is quite, without disturbing noises at your window. Good wi-fi, friendly and calm atmosphere

Nice hostel, good location. It lacks a bit of character, but the rooms are spacious and ok. Bed smelled like it had not been washed. Very nice roofterrace though! We only stayed here for one night. Only 5 a 10 minutes away from the city center.

The sheets did not fit on the bed in our room which was our major complaint with this hostel. The sheets were too small so they would pop off the bed in the night. The rubbish bins were never emptied in the rooms/en-suite toilet (no instructions for us if we were to do it) which was unpleasant. However, lovely location (a 5 min walk into town) and friendly staff.

I absolutely LOVE this hostel! The people are SO amazing, I think it's the best hostel I've stayed at in China (& I've stayed at a LOT), not even exaggerating. The staff are so friendly & helpful. They helped me get plane tickets to where I needed to go & my friend get bus tickets to her next destination, that's just 1 example. There's also a beautiful rooftop where I loved to drink my coffee :) I would HIGHLY recommend this one to anybody staying in Yangshuo. I'm coming back here every time!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped us to change our bus ticket early in the morning, and they drove us until the bus by car. I highly recommend this hostel.

Honestly, I didn't think this place was anything special, and I was a little disappointed, especially after all the wonderful reviews. The rooms are clean (albeit damp and musty) and it is still good value for your money, but just don't expect the staff to be overly helpful or to have decent knowledge of the area. The location is alright, but it is on a busy street. Overall, you can do better-. more comfortable, better service, friendlier staff, quiter location etc., if you just look around.

Perfect place to stay in Yangshuo! The double room was very clean and new, air-conditioning, great bathroom with hot water. But the best thing is definitely the awesome staff - Zack, Phyllis, thanks so much for your help! Everyone was very supportive and so nice, it really was a shame we had to leave after two nights, we'll definitely come back if we get the chance. The food was good and reasonably priced, too, they even got up for us at 7 in the morning to make breakfast so we'd catch our bus.

The staff were fantastic. Even to the point of walking me to the bus station and waiting for my bus to Guangzhou to make sure I got the right bus. Always very friendly and willing to help with anything. The roof top area was great but maybe could be a bit better if there was a bar up there. Otherwise the view was fantastic from the top floor and it's right in the middle of the action but still manages to be nice and quite.
