Great hostel with character but I didn't get what I paid for. I booked a double bed private with ensuite but we didnt get that room. After we asked to move or leave early they refused and placed blame on hostelworld. We ended up being refunded half the 6 night stay and checked out but this was after a very fueled argument with the owner. They were still selling the room we booked online throughout our stay. Nice place but they can't take money for rooms that aren't what you book. Not recommended

The staff were fantastic, really accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The hostel has a great central location, we never used public transport once as every district was walk able. For us the only down side was the cleanliness/ age of the sheets, pillows and towels which were all really grubby. Apart from that all good, friendly people, discounted tours, free Spanish and Tango lesson..... Great value for money and would stay again.

It was a cute little place that's great value for the money. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Facilities stay pretty clean, including hot showers, a lounging area, and kitchen. Breakfast is good. Wish lockers were bigger, but nothing happened to my stuff, thankfully. Most tourist-attractions are about a 15 minute walk, and there's a metro and plenty of busses nearby. The hostel provides books, maps, and two functioning computers.

Excellent location with great communication with other interesting neighbourhoods of Buenos Aires. Comparing with other hostels I stayed on this trip, Estacion Buenos Aires was the quietest of all and I enjoyed that. Friendly staff. It would be nice to organize some activities like barbecue so that the people could mingle in the afternoon. Just a suggestion.
