Great location near Hong bridge. Nice lobby for chilling out. Old facilities and the dorm smelled bad. Helpful English speaking staff.

great place, only but was that the roomed smelled weird, and we ordered a 4 person room but ended up with two strangers in a 6 persons room

Charming Hostel in old part of city. Staff are very helpful, and one is a very good english speaker. Rooms are clean but the en-suite rooms do not come with towels (as some in China). I would certainly recommend this hostel

there is no wifi in the rooms, some of the bathrooms are squatle and there is kind of a problem with the lighting, but is a good deal for a night.

The staff here were great; two of the girls working there took me for a walk around the town to practice their English. However, the showers were very Chinese - in the same room as the squat toilets, so if you accidentally slip you'll be foot-deep somewhere you don't want to be. Lockers in rooms, provided you had your own lock, and no heating. Good location just down the road from the night market.

Awesome Hostel! Had an awesome time in Fenghuang staying here, even had a great drink with the staff/guests

Very Chinese (hard beds, no Western toilet - at least in a private twin) but good hostel. The staff were friendly, the room was fine & in a brilliant location - a minute's walk from the centre of the Old Town & many restaurants/street food nearby. Only downside - FREEZING in winter (our room had no heating) but would be fantastic when it's warmer!

The hotel was very good in general. The only problem: very cold if you go in the winter!! Only some rooms have heating, you pay 30RMB per night to use it, but still it doesn't work too well. Perfect if the weather is nice though.
