This is a really professional hostel, that feel like a Hotel sometimes. The rooms have enough space, the same I cannot say from the bathrrooms (ensuite) that are extremilly tigh, making even a task such as brush your teeth a big effort. Just use the bathroom in the corridor, much better. The security is really high. The facilities are really good and modern, the bar has average prices, and a good athmosphere. Unfortunatelly the hostel is a bit pricy, but overall it's really good.
Loved, loved, loved staying here. Lockers under the beds were giant and held my backpack plus had lots of extra room! Great that the toilet and shower are separate and appreciate the large mirror and magazines in the room! Only thing is no a/c or at least we couldn't get it to work. Security guard at the door and locked doors that require your room key is good. Used the laundry and it was good. Good atmosphere and fun place. Highly recommend the free daily tour. Great place!
Big and modern hostel, very good location next to the Central Station. I had a nice stay. Nevertheless the bathroom in the room is too small, and my big locker under the bed was impossible to close, it was broken (I said it to the staff but nothing happened although I stayed there 5 days).
Great hostel. Rooms were clean and spacious and the small bathrooms really weren't impossibly small. The staff were super nice and helpful and the location of this hostel is SO convenient being right by the train station and public transit. The bunks all have reading lights and plugs and USB ports for charging which was all super convenient as well. Definitely would stay here again.
Very clean and next to train station. Security was exellent but someone did steal somethings of mine in my dorm that weren't in the locker when i went to breakfast. But there's only so much the hostel can do. This is a big chain hostel more like a hotel that had a wide range of people. The staff were good but the poor guy left to work a bar on a Friday night with stag parties alone was understandably a bit stressed. This place was ok for a short stay in Hamburg.
In advance: We stayed in a double room and we came just for a 2-day-trip to Hamburg. Basically our choice came to this hostel because of its short distance to the central station. The double room does not have a double bed - two singles are combined to a double bed. The bathroom is not bigger than an aircraft's restroom. The shower is fixed and anyone who is taller than 1,75-1,80m cannot stand under the shower. The room doesn't invite to stay - it's boring and simple.
The hostel is very central and one of the safest hostels I've stayed at.
the room was really really small for 6 people and it was like a sauna inside, quite hard to fall asleep. the in-room shower and toilet were really tiny and crappy, you can't even avoid hitting the walls turning around.
Everything was good, I would have preferred if there had been an AC in our 8 Dorm...
The rooms facing the street are extremely noisy, apart from that the hostel is super clean and have a friendly and helpful staff!
Very typical large chain hostel with all your needed facilities and much more although there was no kitchen. Rooms were very specious and clean. Stayed there when the weather was extremely warm and the room just felt like a sauna with no fan or air con. The windows in the room could only be opened slightly which made at times extremely warm even at night!
GOOD: 1. Really good location right across from the train station. 2. Really nice lobby and lounge/bar that is air conditioned. BAD: 1. No air conditioning in the rooms. UNBElIEVABLY HOT IN ROOMS. I know they have had many complaints about it but ... You would think they would at least get some fans for the rooms. Further, you can only barely crack the windows, so little if any breeze coming in rooms. 2. 10 to 20 homeless folks right outside the front door. I won't stay there again.
Quite new hostel with good security, which is also recommended close to the train station. Was not met with very friendly staff in the reception or the bar however. Its a place that is so big that it can something be hard to socialise, rather I recommend it for larger groups.
Little to no air con made the rooms like a sauna and asked the staff if there way anything they could do and was bluntly told no. Atmosphere was weird.. They have a nice bar with great food, but was full of families and kids running around. The amenities were not set up for the size of the hostel - only 2 washing machines and 2 driers for the whole hostel which has over 200 people easily. We had to wait over 3 hours to use it. Breakfast was always packed and not enough seats and tables.
Best Hostel I have ever visited (only 5 so far). Great people, great lounge, nice bar, tidy rooms

The showers were a bit on the small side but apart from that everything else was perfect.
Nice and clean rooms, but there was some wierd smell from the ensuite bathroom. But other than that, it is a perfect hostel. Will book it next time i go to Hamburg
I had to sleep in the lobby one night. The room was too hot and had no air conditioning. The bathroom is tiny, shower it right at your face and the water gets everywhere.
