Was my second stay here (first one almost 3 years ago). Still a nice, good place to stay in singapore. MRT is nearby, Little India one of the best locations for good food and shopping, nice hostel, super friendly and helpful staff (thanks for all the informations and smiles, btw), nice showers.... everything still perfectly fine.
Great place to stay, not far from the mrt and nice rooftop areas to chill. Would recommend.
While hostels in Singapore will be more expensive than your average hostel in the SE Asian countries, this hostel makes up for the price. They offer free breakfast, the staff is friendly, helpful, and full of recommendations and advice. The bunks were clean, soft, and had blankets and AC in the dorms. The showers were hot. And the toilets flushed and had toilet paper. Close to the MRT station. Good rooftop garden/bar.
Nice staff on the reception but not 24 hours. Close to Little India but short metro ride to Bayfront area
Not a single thing to complain about, and much to praise, from the all-morning breakfast (fruit! toast! actually good coffee! with milk at that!) to the roof-top garden. Yes, there isn't a kitchen or 'fridge, but you're told of that right away, and there're heaps of delicious, cheap places to eat a stone's-throw away. The staff are very cheerful, and the rooms are quiet, cool, dark, and will have you catching up on all that lost sleep.
Lovely helpful staff and relaxed about check in/out times. Breakfast runs all day do you don't have to get up early which is great. Wifi wasn't great in the room but there were 3 options to choose from and the rooftop bar was a nice place to sit. Everyone who worked here was so helpful and happy to give advice on where to go and how to get there. It could have been a little cleaner but Id recommend staying here.
Me and my friend wanted somewhere cheap as we are backpacking on a budget. £10 per night which is good. Location is good, about 5 min walk from the MRT train station! Staff are friendly. Would come back again.
The Hostel is overprized. One night nearly 80 Dollar and had a tiny Little room for myself, no comfort at all for this money.

Fun and clean hostel. A bit far from the city center but it was okay. Beds are super comfortable considering that I was in a 10 bed dorm. The only downside the smelly shoe rack in reception. Overall it is one of the best hostels I have been to.
Rooftop is a lot shabbier then shown in pictures and there was not much nightlife going on up there which maybe it was just the crowd. Could have been all around quite a lot cleaner. The staff was absolutely wonderful though. They were always so polite and always ready to help. Easily approachable and took card of any questions or problems with a smile. the breakfast was also nice, just toast fruit and coffee or tea, simple and good. They also has Nutella! I would stay again if I return.
The mattress was quite awful but otherwise it was a great hostel.
The original staff was very nice, but they kept being rotated in and out with other hostels I think, so it ended up diluting the customer-staff relationship.
A nice little hostel in a good location. The nearby metro station makes it easy to get anywhere in the city, and the friendly staff will also help you get where you want to go and do what you want to do.
Really friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, really clean bathrooms, good showers. Not really walking distance to the sights and centre but close to two MRT stations so easy enough to get around. Rooftop area is nice, but an inside area to chill out would be good, the area inside is more for using the computers and can get quite crowded. We would stay here again if they bought new pillows in the dorms!
good location near MRT walk for 5 min , unlimited toast jam and fruit , nice roof top , everything clean , but wifi is quite slow
They do not supply inner slipper and ask to take off shoes before going inside, the problem is dining area always have jam pieces on the floor, so it is quite dirty without shoes or when going into toilet. My inner sleepers were taken away by someone else. WIFI in room is extremely slow.
Green Kiwi was a nice haven from the city. They have a lot of options of what to do and the staff are super friendly and will recommend you many things. Beds and bathrooms were clean, breakfast was really nice with fruits. Location is pretty good as well!
A decent hostel. Unfortunately the rooftop area was closed for renovations. I think that would have made for a better and more social atmosphere. Good Parts: Easy to get to. Very comfortable beds which made for a great night sleep. Discounts on tickets to attractions. Bad Parts: The entryway where they have people leave shoes has no ventilation and smells atrocious. The lockers are very tiny. Barely big enough for a laptop and a few valuables. Overall a good place to stay.
Great staff and breakfast but unisex showers put me off a bit.
We stayed here for a few days before moving onto Australia. The beds are extremely comfortable, the best I've had in SE Asia, they all had a reading lamp and 4 plugs next to it. Perfect! Free breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit and toast with peanut butter!! Computers are free and all very good plus the hostel has 5G wifi which is very fast even with everybody using it. Clean, good showers. Staff are really welcoming and helpful! Just by Lavender station too so its very accessible. Amazing!
