Not located in the most tourist friendly area of Singapore. It's a bit of a hike to both of the rail lines if you are carrying your pack. But the location is clean and the breakfast was superb. And it's really good value for the money in Singapore.

Nice busy hostel with a lot of beds and a lot of people. Staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful and there's a nice rooftop garden area where you can meet other travellers. I only stayed one night but would stay again.

Hostel is really nice. I enjoyed the breakfast (toast, butter, jam, chocolate spread, peanut butter, fruits, coffee/tea). The roof terrace is also very nice.

We loved staying here! The staff are all very friendly and helpful and were very concerned that we had lost our bags at the airport (and made sure to ask if we had any information on them every day). Super yummy breakfast and great set up. A little far from the centre of town but close to Little India which was nice. Would definitely recommend (and we got our bags back finally!).

We really enjoyed our stay, we booked a private room and be warned its literally a box with bunk beds. The staff was lovely, they gave us tips on where to go and how to get there. The coffee was deliciously paired with the nutella toast every morning. Lots of young backpackers around, would totally recommend.

Green Kiwi by far has the best atmosphere of all the hostels I've stayed in Singapore. Much easier to meet other single travellers. It has a good amount of showers and toilets, however the room was a bit stuffy and had a funky smell, but that's probably due to the windows being closed as the aircon is constantly on. Breakfast is good and goes until 1pm, so you don't need to worry about missing it. The rooftop garden is a good place to chill and meet people.

Not very centrally located thouh there's a lot of cheap Chinese and Indian restaurants close by. Ok breakfast and a nice roof top. I'd probably go there again....

Location is good, very near to public transport and around the corner from Little India. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms clean and lots of hot water. The staff were very helpful and welcoming whenever I walked in the door or passed reception. And best of all the breakfast, as much toast and fruit as you wanted with tonnes of choice in spreads, and real coffee :) Yum! Thanks for a lovely last stop in Asia

The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were well maintained and the sleeping areas and wash rooms were clean. Free breakfast is greatly appreciated and the general common area a relaxed atmosphere that encourages socialising amongst travellers.

one of the best hostels i've ever been. Very friendly members and a guy named Sha is every Friday there to make a free guided tour to a nice restaurant and to the stunning lightshow by the Marina Bay Sands in front of the Skyscrapers. We were only 5 people and it was so great! The rooftop is also nice and comfy. When i asked if i could get breakfast earlier because i had to leave early they made for me a extra lunch box! :) The situation is good, too. There are two MRT stations next to it.

This is my second time to stay in Green Kiwi, love to came back. But for the cleanliness is not as good as before. The tissue box in toilet was broken, the bedsheet also. The breakfast is the best, choices of fruit, watermelon, dragonfruit, and oranges. Love it. The staff very friendly, and nice.

I liked this hostel enough to stay on two separate occasions but sometimes the social scene is a bit dull as some people are living in the hostel permanently and just keep to themselves. Some parts to hostel are starting to look a bit warn down so could do with a bit of a refresh especially in the bathroom area.

Good place. I think by Singapore standards, it might even be great. But by global standards, it is merely good. Location isn't great (it's not central, nor is it right next to an MRT stop), common facilities are small (but adequate). and there isn't anything special about the atmosphere, like the great places have.
