Such a beautiful house to stay in. Our private room was big and very nicely appointed. The kitchen and living area is welcoming and cosy. Our host was lovely and had very good english. Would definitely recommend.

Makoto-san is a charming man who likes to make his guests feel at home and succeeds. We were made to feel very welcome. He was interested in us and helped us find our way in Kanazawa. He told us of a museum we might have missed, which turned out to be the highlight of our visit. His house is very comfortable, which is important, but the most important factor is the warmth of the welcome and the friendliness we encountered. A great place to stay! Highly recommended

Had a great time with the owner talking over food and drinks during dinner time. We bought some food while he cooked pasta or noodle, and the shared dinner was great!

Love this place. The owner was extremely nice and having traveled plenty himself was very easy to talk to. Stayed in a 2 bed male dorm, sleeping on the tatami which was a very good experience. The guesthouse is located extremely close to the train station and an easy walk to the local market. Would definitely come back again, made me feel like home!!

Mokoto was a knowledgeable and welcoming host. We found the traditional rooms to be of ample size.

Namaste is a great little guesthouse very near the train station in Kanazawa. Traditional style rooms, with tatami mats, coupled with a modern kitchen, clean bathrooms and a nice lounge area make it a character filled guesthouse. I was fascinated to talk to the owner who had spent 15 years travelling in India! The guesthouse is full of info on things to do and see while in Kanazawa. Although, it is a tight run ship, no common room after 10pm, it is clean, friendly and I will visit again!

The staff was very friendly, and helpful. He suggested a very nice museum (Suzuki) and made the reservation for us at the Ninja temple. The beds were comfortable, and was enough space. The location is walking distance from the train station, which was convenient.

Makoto is a genuinely friendly and helpful person and he made more than enough to ensure that my stay in his hostel is pleasant. He is well-travelled and interesting person. The hostel is very near the Kanazawa train station and 10-15 minutes walking from the main attractions. The hostel is very clean and fully equipped in terms of facilities. It has a nice & relaxing common area I would highly recommend

We love the Namaste guesthouse and recommend for everyone who will go to Kanazawa to stay there. The host is very friendly, welcoming and hospitable. We feel like stay at home. The location is also comfortable to get around the town, only 5 minutes walk to train station, 2 minutes walk to loop bus stop. The house is also clean, neat, comfort and safety.
