Good location walking distance from Kanazawa station. The owner is nice. It is a small guesthouse and doesn't have much of a hostel buzz but a good place to stay if you are just doing a day trip in Kanazawa which is what a lot of people do.
The host is very friendly and speak fairly good english.he even give tips to enjoy the nearby attractions.the house is very clean with beautiful traditional japanese architecture.very spacious room, with tatami mat and paper sliding door,a bit like ryokan at hostel room cost.
Very nice and clean place and close to the station. The house owner is warm-hearted and offered us useful information about KANAZAWA city.
The owner was great! He was very helpful walking me through the hostel and giving tips on the area. I stayed in a room with 2 other girls who were okay with me taking of so early in the morning, but there could be an issue if you stay in such tight quarters with people not as accommodating. The location is a little far from some of the attractions, but very close to the train station and the neighborhood it's in is pretty cute on it's own, would have loved to explore it.
Quiet, clean, kind host, what's more to say? This was our best stay in a guesthoust / hostel during our 3 week trip across Japan.
We thought the guesthouse was clean and really nice. We felt like we were in a strangers house though and the instructions were a bit condescending upon our arrival.

Host was very friendly. Good social environment -- I was traveling alone, but met a bunch of exchange students and we toured the city together.
Great place to stay for the price! The owner is very helpful and can tell you anything you need to know about the area. It is in a quiet part of town, but it is easy to get around from there. The restrooms and showers are kept incredibly clean, and everything is well maintained. The rooms are beautiful and give you plenty of space. Well worth the stay.
In general we prefer a room with private bathroom however the welcome and interaction with Yuki and fellow guests more than made up for sharing a bathroom.
we had a really ggod time in namaste guesthouse. The owner was really kind, he gave us a lot of useful advice. It is one of the rare place I would be back again!
The owner who is also the only staff of Guesthouse Namaste is very friendly and helpful. Consider youself lucky if you have a chance to stay at this guesthouse since the owner also takes 100 days off every year for his own vacation and travel.
A bit tricky to find and the owner is very particular about his rules, but overall a decent hostel
A great guesthouse! Very clean facilities and a very authentic Japanese experience with sleeping on futong and tatami mat. The guesthouse owner is very friendly and helpful. He gave me a map, bar and sightseeing tips and is also up for a talk about his travel experience. Great person!
