The main desk guy there, Orhan, is great. He's very very helpful. For the rate, everything was great. It is more of a hostel than a hotel, but that was what I was expecting. You really can't beat the location. It's right outside of Basmane (200 meters away) station, which will pretty get you to any place in the country by train, there is also a bus sales office, Pamukkale, right outside (80 meters away), it is also 800 meters from center city Bazaar and night life. Highly recommended!

It's a hotel really, not a hostel... you'll get a private room. Served it's purpose for me exactly... great location by the train station and a fine place to spend the night before going elsewhere.

The faucet was spilling the water all over the bath room. The shower curtain was ridiculous - it's hard, not to flood the whole bath room under these circumstances. But staff was great and cleanliness OK.

The staff were nice and friendly. The room was big enough for two people. However, furniture and bathroom facilities were a little bit old. Overall, I enjoyed it.

Good to see the ratings ımprovıng: a lıttle prıcey but the locatıon was convenıent, the room small but clean, breakfast was good and the receptıon staff were just lovely. We were only there for an overnıght between buses and i would recommend ıt

Nice little hotel - staff is very friendly and helpful. Close to Kültür Park which is a nice place to chill out. Easy to get to all the must see places from here.

The lobby is beautiful and the staff that greeted us at the desk was very nice and helpful. My positive comments pretty much end there. The shower head was broken so paying for a room with a private bathroom was pointless, the bed was terrible and uneven and smashed into the tiny room. The location felt a little sketchy. It just wasn't the greatest experience and we ended up canceling part of our reservation and staying somewhere else.

Guzel Izmir is a hotel so you don't get the fun atmosphere you would have in a hostel. I went there because I didn't find anything cheaper. I had a private room with a double bed for myself. It was more than I'm used to. I found it very nice and clean. For 2 people it might be a little small (even thought it wouldn't bother me), but for one persone it's way more than enough. The staff is very nice and helpful and the breakfast is great. It's very well located.
