Good value for paid price but we did not have hot water. Fortunately, the weather was warm. We had to leave very early and they prepared sandwiches to take away. Kind attention!

it was too much noisy to sleep, there is a little drinking bar next to the building which contains hookers, after the evening there are dangerous people around, probably people use that hotel to go with hookers, anyway i hate it..

Hotel is in a very Good location in izmir. Walk distances to the Konak pier Konak square and Alsancak. just near by the gate of izmir international fair site. The neighborhood is a little bit weak. Especially at Night. But Hotel has No relation with its neigborhood. For that price it is the best accomodation in izmir. Rooms were small but clean. İf you are looking for a budget Hotel for a short stay like 2 or 3 nights I can recommend that place

Guzel Izmir Oteli is in an area of Izmir with a lot of little hotels. It's convenient for being very close to the train station and several bus companies. It's also possible to walk to the coast (about 20 min.) and see some of the sights along there. The staff spoke excellent English and were helpful when we asked questions about the area or getting around. Overall, it was a good hotel. Enjoyable, and I'd stay there again, but nothing in particular to rave about.

The location was perfect because it was close to the trains, buses, and the city center. The room was clean, just right for one person, and quiet. My suggestion is for the young guy working the from desk: Learn how to be a professional worker. You are a very nice person before the customer pays. But, once you get the money fir the room you are rude, unwelcoming, and unprofessional. The security guard, the woman and the cook were EXCELLENT!!!!!! To the young guy please learn to be nice. :)

Don't book this hotel! It seems to be a transient hotel! The staff was very unfriendly and we got a disgusting room without windows that smelled of smoke. We chose the hotel because it's near to the basmane railway station and because it was in the guide, but this was a bad idea. It was so bad, we booked a room in another hotel and did not stay for the night in Guzel Izmir Oteli -- I never did this before...

We stayed for 3 nights. Great location, so close to the station + walking distance from all the sights + no noise at night. Room was small but clean and has a good shower. During the day, they have English-speaking staff at the reception. Especially the (young) man at the reception was really helpful, gave lots of info.

Very convenient to Basmane. Room was tiny and kind of dumpy, but the bathroom was very clean. Staff were all excellent. and the breakfast was good. A bit of a walk to get to the Kordon though.
